Tacens Anima aptii500 – Computer Power Supply 500 W, 12 V, ATX, Fan 8 cm, Anti-Vibration), Black

My old slimdesktop stopped to work properly, actually it stopped to work suddenly and did not restarted again. To make it work again I had to unplug th hd, make a restart and replug the hd again.Moreover, I tried to reinstall windows and after the second boot, the dvd writer stopped to work and since then it did not recognize any media.So came up in mind that the wattage supplied was not enough. And I substituted the old 350 Watt PSU with this one, 500 Watt .and all is going well.

I bought this for a Dell slim case computer which had the original PSU. That set up was insufficient to add any GPU (nvidia 1050). With this replacement PSU everything worked fine

Worked... for a while.. popped after a few weeks of regular use, peering through the fan you can see the PCB is a block of plastic and isn't top quality.. best to stick to using this as a emergency till a decent one is availible
