Lot of nice, supple, thick, leather for the money. Value.
The other reviewer's zippers broke and therefore got gave it a bad review, which is understandable. So far my zippers are okay. I can see how they could break, probably could be bigger, tougher. The bag itself is made of heavy leather. Mine has no unpleasant odors, which I also read about other such packs. This one seems fine. I actually kind of like it. It is a bit heavy as the leather is thick. The leather is supple. The straps are adjustable but seem overly long. I notched it all the way up and it isn't quite as high on my back as I would like but I'm working on a way to make it tighter. The inner linings don't all match and some of them seem like fuzzy stuff I've seen before that might not hold up. Time will tell. 100% leather packs like this one of good quality cost hundreds of dollars. This one, fully functional, is a small fraction of that and for me, a good value. Like I said, I kind of like it but my glass is always half full.
