You will do just as well to get a huge sharpy to use to cover your labels. Once you roll this over the label many times, it appears to be covered sufficiently - until it dries. Then you can still read the print through the ink. I feel it was not worth the money for me. Nice idea, but it sure didn't provide the security that I wanted so that I could donate my magazines. I am back to cutting or ripping the labels off and running through the shredder. Save your money.

This is easy to use and its wide width seems perfect for labels. One swipe usually covers everything. You do have to let the ink dry on the glossy labels for a few minutes. I do wish that it would not include writing "confidential" on the smear. Seems like a challenge and makes what it covers more important. In this day and age, you really need to protect your identity. This device is a simple and easy way to be doing that.

This little roller is the perfect, inexpensive tool you can use to help protect your identity. Paper shredders can help, but you can't use them on everything. That's why I bought this. The roller is small so it doesn't take up much space and it comes with ink refills.I've tested the roller on a lot of paper, packaging labels and more and the roller covers up every bit of information. However, it can take a while for the ink to dry. I'd be willing to buy it again if anything happens to the first one. Definitely consider buying it if you're looking for a good identity protection tool.

It's amazing how this blocks your name and address out. I looked a long time before selecting this Identity Theft Prevention Stamp and am glad I did.

I am the person responsible for shredding our indentifiable mail. It is a chore. I save up a week's worth and shred on Saturday mornings. It is noisy and messy. Now I just roll and recyle! I recommend this wholeheartedly. I alsouse it at work, which is a school library, so when teachers or others donate magazines, I can easliy cover up their personal information without tearing any part of the magazine.

I really like this ID theft protection stamp! With all of the junk mail and insurance/credit card offers you get every day, it saves so much time. Many of these offers contain not only your name and address, but they are also filled out with other personal information. I would spend a lot of time shredding EVERYTHING! It is so much easier to blot the personal information out with this stamp. It doesn't work on glossy paper, but it does a great job on everything else.

at first it work real good I was able to cover up information on my pills bottle but once I add the ink into unit it just did not cover up image complete and what was cover it was still visible . I guess you get what you paid for it. I had gone threw the 3 tubes of ink for it and all I can say the best thing I did with this item was to toss into the trash. I will never buy it again

Unfortunately, once the ink has dried you can still very clearly see the text that was underneath if you tilt the paper, since it is shiny and this ink is not. I bought this to cover my personal information on pill bottles and packages, and it does not work at all for this purpose. Returned.
