We are lifting a very large amount of weight, and I bought 10 of these to operate as a deeply redundant system to lift and level of structure safely. They are exactly what I wanted for their ability to safely left large loads. Piston Jacks Can fail on your load, causing the structure to drop dramatically or putting incredible amounts of weight on the other Jack’s suddenly, which can cause what’s called a cascade failure. Mechanical jacks are the answer, because they cannot spontaneously fail and less the metal itself fails. However most mechanical jacks are prohibitively expensive.
