I thought the garbage disposal had died and didn't have the money to replace it at the moment. Bought another, similar, item at the same time. This one was far superior! Turned out that I only needed to hit the reset button on the disposal, but I'm still using this. Old septic tank, not city sewer, and I prefer to toss the debris in the trash, rather than let the disposal take care of it.
