It is a fashon statement until you look at the top to find that the zipper doesn't match the lining. What you thought was your fashion statement is really your want-to-be fashion statement. So, I replaced the lining with my own design. Also, the handles could be wrapped a bit tighter. The base of the handle is a green plastic wrapped wire, and shows through a bit in places. Otherwise, it seems to be well made. If you were really handy, you could make a Sam Edelman knock-off bag out of this item.

The straw portion of the bag is beautiful and seems sturdy/well made. Unfortunately, the inner construction does not match that level of quality. The lining is a very cheap cotton muslin, poorly cut and sewn, the zipper is several shades darker (as shown and mentioned in another review) and the zipper pull is stark white, which looks loud and honestly tacky. Had it not been for the pull, I may have considered keeping it, in spite of the cheap lining, because the size and shape of the outer bag is so lovely, but I know I’d be embarrassed to carry it.

What I like most about this bag is that it is on trend and as pictured. I took it took it to a wine festival and got loads of compliments and it was highly functional (privately carried all my essentials and a couple bottles of vino). My least favorite part of this bag is that it is way too structured. If you purchase this bag get ready to literally pull the side apart to access all of the bag. Maybe in time this will give but for now I’m going to try to force this baby open.

It’s beautiful and well made! I’m very satisfied with my order! Although I wish it to be bigger in size! This bag is a medium size and I can’t really put a lot of stuff!

Similar bags sell elsewhere for lots more. I put colored yarn tassels that I made on this bag and it looks just like a bag that sells for $176 on a designer site. While some have complained about the zipper color, it so deep in the bag that it is certainly not visible. I like that the bag sits upright (many don't), it has a lining (many don't), and it has a zipper (many are just open on top). I plan to use it as a summer handbag, not a beach bag.

Great bag! After reading the reviews I was a little skeptical but the bag is amazing, well made, durable, the inside lining is great, and on top of it it’s an adorable bag.

Very cute. You can’t fit a beach towel inside it, but you can put books, keys, wallet, etc in. I love it.

I loved this handbag. So many straw bags don't hold their shape and this one did so well. Note that the opening is narrow.
