They are a twisted wool fiber that is combined with some paracord and twisted the old fashioned way to give you a tight rope with hardly any give. These reins are 8' long and approximately 5/8" thick. I have added leather water loops and trigger snaps to attach to the bit. If you have sensitive hands or just like a soft reins you will love these!
