The collapsed left wrist, or "Pancake Wrist", is perhaps the single biggest positioning problem facing young violin students, as any teacher knows. The Wrist Rascal is the solution! Attaches as easily to the violin as a shoulder rest, using a simple elastic band. The Wrist Rascal gently trains the left wrist to stay in the proper position by mimicking the feel of the hand against the heel, as in third position, where a collapsed wrist is impossible. After just a few weeks' use, muscle memory takes hold, and the left hand is trained. And it double as the most effective support for training of vibrato. The large size is for 4/4 or 3/4 size violins, the medium for 1/2 and 1/4 size violins, and the small for 1/8 size or smaller violins. Made in the USA. Sizing listed is wrong.
The sizing is WRONG! The product works well. We borrowed one from a violin teacher that has had one from years. And once I got the correct size it works great. The company website and amazon have the size wrong. I needed a wrist rascal for a 1/4 violin and according to both places I should order a medium. I did. But a medium does not fit it isn’t even for a 1/4 violin. Called company and they told me same thing a medium should fit. I sent it back got all but my shipping returned to me (not happy with this since it wasn’t my fault they had sizing wrong, I don’t feel I should have to pay for shipping) Ordered a small and it fits.Long story short. I like the product but they seriously need to make the sizing correct.

Stay clear of this item.
Very cheaply made, the finish? is like sand, comes off in your hand. No chance I'm going to allow that to come in contact with my violin.Not even worth the hassle to return and pay restocking fee.Do yourself a favor and stay away from this product!!!

Wow. A no brainer. Highly recommended!
Great tool to help my students develop great habits in 1st position. Easy to use and a nice nonabrasive rubber. Improves intonation immediately and highly effective with combatting the dreaded collapsed wrist syndrome!
