meross Smart Light Switch Single Pole, Supports HomeKit, Wi-Fi Light Switch

Installation was very easy. Getting it to connect to my wi-fi was not. I struggled with this at first. Partly my fault so trying to be kind. I bought Meross because I had already installed it and it was working great and connected to my Echo Dot without any problems. So I ordered 4 more and these were HomeKit compatible so when I tried to connect it to the Wi-Fi I selected the basic install instead of the HomeKit. I finally found in the instructions that I should select the HomeKit even if I was connecting with it via the Meross app.. Excellent tech support and Amazon helped me also.

Works great. I can control my lights from anywhere. I like that I can turn on lights after dark before I get home. The program features work great for outdoor lighting.

I've been using meross products for a few years now, around 5, and I think they are great. Installation is pretty straight forward from a physical aspect, then the connecting to the network install comes around and it's still easy. I had an issue with only one product so far and it was more an error on my end. I like how they offer connectivity across a few platforms which leaves the door open to switching and not having to replace a whole system.

Nice update switch to from HomeKit. We have installed 8 switches about the home. We found couple the had issues and reset the switch. I want a 5 star and move to the basement. They are good as a second switch.

I purchased the 4 pack of the MSS510 single pole switches. The very first switch I installed was a nightmare to get connected to the Apple Home app. I tried for a couple of hours, even emailed customer service, before I stopped and left it in place. It still worked like a regular switch, just not a smart switch. I had a response from Meross’s customer service the next morning when I woke up. I went to my switch and magically it linked up with Apple Home. Customer service had some questions, but I never responded back because I was able to get the switch connected. I have a feeling I probably did something wrong on the initial pairing for Apple Home because the other 3 connected right away without any issues. I’ve had my switches installed for about a month now and they work flawlessly with Siri and Alexa. Only time will tell how long they last. But so far so good.

They are simple and can handle 15 volts for heaters and 3 prongs.

Very easy to install and pair, make sure to turn of the breaker to avoid electric shock. Stable and rarely drop connection! Very responsive as shows in the video, I use the apple home kit version

No problems installing these, and adding them to my Apple Home.

Installed 3 of 4 light switches and installation is easy if you have basic electrical knowledge. Great functionality with Meross and HomeKit but o prefer the Meross app. Had it for about 2 months now and very pleased and no downtime.
