My son just tried this out for the first time last night. My 5 month old is definitely a blanket kid (and I try to give him many different blankets so he doesn't get attached to one particular one). He uses blankets to put himself to sleep (he rubs them on his face and sucks on them....yes, I take it away once he falls asleep).He spit up on the blanket he'd been using for the last couple of days, so we gave him this one (I washed it when I received it before I gave it to him). It's decent. That's the best word I can use to describe it. It's fine for one of many blankets in our never ending rotation, but not great. It's a lot rougher than the Aden and Anais blankets we have, but not so rough that he won't rub his face with it...hoping it'll get softer with more washes.It's a good size (size of the regular Aden and Anais). I'd compare the thickness to the "Aden by Aden and Anais" (we have all 3 "Aden and Anais" brands).Also, the print is only on one side of the blanket.All in all, definitely not bad for the price, but not the best.

Soft to a baby's bottom! I gave this as a gift to some friends with a newborn and they love it. They really like the simple design and the size to get some nice wraps for swaddling the baby. Highly recommend since it's not going to break the bank to get a few of these!

It is cute and a good price. I wish the packaging was a little better. It will be a gift and I think cute packaging makes it look better in gift package
