Good composter
I’ve only had it for a day now, but so far I like it. It is not loud at all and there isn’t a smell. So hopefully things continue to go well with it.

A Great Addition to the Home
A little to early to tell. But after a few weeks, it's performed as it promised. I love the fact that it's so quiet and that it's a true composting machine instead or a dehydrator machine The microbial pack is what sold it for me since it will assist in the decomposition of meats, cheese and other organic materials. This is the main selling point. And so far, it's been working great. I recently had an unused batch of homemade dog food that I had to dispose of and added it into the machine. 24 hours later, it's gone. Wow! Fibrous items like onion skins, and citrus rinds may take a while longer to decompose. But this machine is still worth the price for reducing waste that would normally go into the trash can.

Easy to use, great for food waste
I’ve gotten like a hundred ads for this on social media, so I watched a few different reviews for it on youtube and decided to give it a try.Generally speaking, it was easy to get setup and going. The ability to dry out the compost in a cycle is a bonus if you put a lot of fruits and vegetables in there. My first day I had some leftovers in the fridge and dumped them in and sure enough it took about a day before it was compost. The compost did get clumpy on the second day, due to a lot of fruit and vegetable waste, but after a day on dry it seems to have sorted itself out. There was a large mix of stuff that was put in there and surprisingly no noticeable odor or attraction of bugs to it.So overall it is on the pricey side, but in the short time I’ve had it I don’t really have any complaints.

I REALLY wanted to love this!
I have been researching electric composters for a while, so I was super excited when I finally purchased the Reencle! I went through all of the good and bad reviews and decided it was worth a shot because I absolutely hate throwing away food, especially leftovers that can't be put into a traditional compost bin that we already have.In the beginning, it was GREAT! It was super easy to set up, you just plug it in and add the starter pack with water. I could put anything in it, and watched it turn into compost without any smells or mold. I made sure all the food was rinsed first before putting it into the bin and everything was cut up into pieces just as instructed in the manual. It never had a smell, the seal was great, and it held a lot of food! After 3 weeks of use, it started making a strange grinding noise. So I did all of the trouble shooting that was recommended. I added water to it to make sure the stirring bin wasn't too dry, I emptied out the bin to make sure nothing was wrapped around the stirring rods, I cleaned the filter thoroughly. But NOTHING made the noise go away. So I figured why not try to dry out the bin and maybe that's what the problem was because it was too thick (even though it was below the max line). Well, sure enough, the "purify" light started blinking red, and per the manual, that means there's something wrong with the fan and I needed to contact customer support.Considering this machine only comes with a 1 year warranty, and I'm already having problems after 3 weeks, I decided to return it to Amazon within the 30 day window. Because even if it gets fixed, it will probably eventually break again since it's constantly running and trying to break down food. I was so disappointed and sad! Now I'm back to square one looking for another electric composter that will actually help me decrease waste.

Great machine
I finally won my wife over, she was skepticle. It was easy to set up and start using. I have already used compost in the garden, mixing it with soil as instructed. The only things that prevented me from giving it 5 stars was the inner seal came loose and I had to press it back in place or the door wouldn't shut completely. It seems to be not attached properly. Then the foot sensor to open the door doesn't seem to be working and I have to press the button on top to open it. Otherwise it works fine.

Excellent composter
We’ve had ours for most of a year now, with no issues. We’re reasonably careful about the size of things we put in, and we turn on the ‘dry’ setting if it gets too wet, to help take pressure off the motors. It turns food scraps into ‘compost’ really well - it’s kind of astonishing how quickly it processes things. We haven’t found ours to be smelly - or if it starts heading in that direction, we use the purify function which seems to handle it fine.If I lost this one or it broke, I’d get this one again. For me, that’s a good sign that I’m pleased with the item.

Game Changer
We've had this now for a few months. Yesy it does get a little smelly from time to time, btu it is not a rotten food smell - just a musty earth smell. Wiht that aside - our dogs (and wildlife) used to go through our compost pile in the back yard. We had to regulate what we put in the pile out of fear it would sicken our dogs. Now, every two weeks we sprinkle the well digested and broken down compost onto our yard as fertilizer! Really wish we had goten this sooner!
