Dynatrap 1/2 Acre Outdoor Insect Trap

I can't say enough good about this product. I have the smaller one for in the house and it works perfectly. I'm in an old house and for some reasons flies are an issue this time of year. I'd been using those window glue sheets that also worked, but I have to admit that aesthetically there weren't the best. Whilst I loved squishing them once they were trapped as if I were Vlad the Impaler, they were off-putting to visitors. I don't think I'd use it outside because it does attract moths in huge numbers, but in the house it does away with gnats, fruit flies, mosquitos and the dreaded house flies. I'm going to purchase another for the basement, who knows what is lurking down there.....

Okay I must say that I'm impressed! I have battled wasps on my back patio for years. So I decided to give this device a try and honestly I wasn't optimistic. It is now been 3 months, during the time that the Wasps are always the worst. And I have not had one nest built anywhere in the vicinity of my backyard. I'm amazed at how many dead bugs I empty from that thing about every two weeks. I've recommend it to my mother and my sister. Absolutely satisfied and now able to better enjoy my patio

I ordered this because we are trying to control mosquitos in our backyard. It worked fine for 2 months, collecting lots of bugs and we would open the bottom flap to empty it regularly. Unfortunately, one time when i was emptying, I was shaking it to shake the bugs out, and the bottom flap fell off. While trying to re-attach the flap, both of the legs snapped off, making it impossible to re-attach. They can't be glued because of the angle of the break and the pressure they use to snap in. So just get a replacement flap, right? Should be easy. This is a popular product and this seems like a part that could break easily. Unfortunately, after searching multiple websites, including Dynatrap's own, there is no replacement available anywhere. I contacted Dynatrap, and got an email response back saying they could not provide a replacement part, and they offered no further support. I contacted Amazon, and since the item was out of the return window, they could not refund or replace anything. So now it's just a piece of junk. 2 months of use, and now it's broken and useless, with no support provided by Dynatrap. Waste of money, and now it's just plastic junk for me to throw away. Works fine until it breaks, and then you're out of luck.

Works great. Fills up fast, which is exactly what you want. The bugs are not always dead though, so watch out when emptying them. Makes outside areas usable in the summer. The volume of bugs it catches will quickly collapse the population in the surround area. Very quiet, especially for outside use.

It works well but still some mosquitoes. I would say about 80 percent better than it was.

In spite of what others say, I find it to be noisy with my hearing aids on. The 3 star rating may be generous. I do not find any bugs in the trap, and my wife is still getting mosquito bites. It is being used indoors, but in an adjacent room because of the noise. Next step iso to try it outdoors by the back door and find something quiet for the office. But I am afraid the UV light will just attract more mosquitos if I put it by the back door. I do not recommend for indoor use unless you are hearing impaired like me.

We purchased one 7years ago. It’s been a real bug catcher. We have to empty it at least 6 times a year. I can’t get over it lasting 7 years running 24-7. This size is perfect for our back deck and the space under the deck. That’s why I made sure we got the exact thing

These flies straight laughed at this trap. I bought this specifically for fly control. Anything larger that a small moth cannot be inhaled by the fan. Works great for light flying insects, but has no effect on flies or anything larger than a lady bug. Way too expensive for what it is. Overall its very easy to use and clean, just plug and go but its ineffective at trapping flying insects other than moths. Yes I did hang it per the instructions and I gave it overnight. No flies. I set it on the chair where they congregate, still no flies captured. They just sat on top of it and laughed at me. Overall not worth the money unless you want small moth control. I still have reservations about how it does with mosquitos as well as none were visible in the trap either.

Mi prima me la recomendó como una maravilla... la verdad es que funciona, pero no es tan buena como presumen...

This Dynatrap device came delivered with only a US-120 volt power plug, hardwired all the way. So no way to change the cord or use local adaptor for 220V which is the standard here. Nowhere does it indicate voltage options on its external packaging, nor does it state anything regarding required voltage in its documentation. Honestly surprised if this is even legal to sell in EU, as plugging it into 220V by changing the plug itself to EU standard will cause instant blowout/burn if plugging it in.

Totalement insatisfaite: la prise n’est pas adaptée pour un usage en France, ceci n’était pas spécifié lors de l’achat . Comment Amazon peut proposer cela ?… Pour envoyer mon commentaire j’ai du cliquer sur une étoile mais un objet si cher que l’on ne peut pas utiliser n’en mérite pas une seule..

Product description doesn't mention that, seller doesn't respond. Product available to order on UAE store but 120v.... Unnecessary waste of time and resources
