MLV100® Premium Mass Loaded Vinyl 1.22m x 1.22m x 4mm 10kg/m2 (31Db) Soundproofing Insulation

Used this to reduce sound from an overhead barn conversion and associated stair well. Placed it on the door, door surround and false wall of the stairwell going up. Works well and dampened the sound very well. Happy to recommend the product. Lopped off one star because they do not deliver to France so had to have it delivered to UK and then arrange shipment to France separately. Other than that very happy with the effectiveness of the product

I bought this to prevent the bassy TV and music from my downstairs neighbour, however it has made almost zero difference.I installed this product over a pre-existing layer of 2mm thick MLV and criss crossed them. (I also used acoustic sealant inbetween the actual floorboards and around the perimeter of the room such as where the skirting boards join with the floor, where the ceiling joins with the wall)I laid both layers of MLV to the very edge of the floor. I can still hear low talking voices, music, TV and coughing and dogs barking, again, as if I hadn't installed anything.I have probably done something incorrectly, but I am still hugely disappointed and demoralised.
