Perhaps this isnt for me, but it wont stop me from telling you my experience with it. It arrived and assembly was pretty straight forward (except for the pump thing i dont know what you were supposed to do with it but just leaving it as is seemed to be fine) but anyway the amount of water it holds is impressive, less need for refills, tho that posesses a new problem but ill get to that in a bit.Important thing out of the way since the most likely want to get this is the ability to cool a room down..... it doesnt. i gave it a good few tries, as well as filling the water tank to the brim with ice to see if it can cool the room down cause i thought the ice containers it came with wasnt enough, but the air the comes out even with that is unnoticable, despite there being a clearly colder temp water being fed into it. I personally wouldnt recommend if you seek to use this to cool off a room.On the bright side, it makes for a great humidifier.

So this unit will not cool your entire home. It won’t even cool the room you’re in. HOWEVER - this unit will cool whoever is in front of its breeze and it works wonders. In my mom’s place where there is no A/C and the home is insulated, I was dying during the heatwaves. This little unit saved me and my cats who plopped down in front of it each time I refilled it and added the ice packs. Its direct air flow was heaven sent and we made it through a 98 degree day with a house temp at 85 degrees and this unit made it feel like it was a nice 76 ish degrees. It’s small but mighty. And doesn’t pull a lot of electricity in case you’re worried about running it constantly. Even its regular fan mode is cooling.TL;DRSmall but mighty, good for the value, lightweight, and lightweight works exceptionally well for a direct cooler. Will not cool the entire room but if you set it in yourself and use a bunch of ice packs in the bottom and top drawers, you’re golden and will be kept at a decent temperature. It’s a quiet machine akin to white noise but quieter. Kept forgetting I had it on at night and woke up freezing lolMinus 2 stars due to slight leaking and difficulty figuring out how to clean the filter. The leaking is not terrible, just be careful not to overfill it and toss a towel or paper towels near the back if you’re going to be constantly using it. The water tank is VERY SMALL and after some trial and error I realized that if you want to run it 24/7 it’ll take about 3-4 refills to get you through it. But that was during satans heatwave and I find it sufficient for my needs. Hope it helps!

Me and my boyfriend love this. It’s perfect for a bedroom/small area. We mainly use it on the high blow setting and cool setting since it’s summer. But even without the cool setting on it blows decently cool air. This was definitely a buy well spent. It doesn’t take up much space and because it has two places to fill I don’t have to break my back bending and my daughter likes to help fill it so she can reach the lower part.

This seemed a great way to beat the Vegas heat but quickly became unusable for its intended purpose when it started leaking any water put in the reservoir (which must be manually dumped often) all over my tabletop and onto the floor about 5 weeks after purchase and became a very expensive not great fan with minimal cooling power.While actually working I did not find it to be too noisy and the very frequent reservoir dumping and cleaning only mildly inconvenient.

It says it is portable. It is not you have to plug it in and leave it plugged in the whole entire entire time and the ice and the water. You could feel the humidity inside there when you’re using it and if you don’t use the ice method and just use the air. It’s just hot air blowing at you. It doesn’t give you any cool air unless you’re sitting directly in front of it when you put ice, it makes the wall sweat is not worth your money

Overall, the air coming out of this unit had a good volume. However, even with the cold packets, the air did not seem any colder than A Typical fan. I was attempting to use this in a garage to support cooling the garage to allow for working out. I use this more as a fan, but it does not really work like an air conditioner.

During a very hot spell, our air conditioning stopped working and we were informed it would be about a week before repairs could be completed. I hade read about portable air conditioners, and I wasn’t too hopeful. But, I was surprised about the quality and effectiveness of this product. The set-up was simple. The product did everything it claimed to do. I was well worth the price.

To be fair, since I received my portable air conditioner, I haven’t had the chance to use it for what I bought it for, which is tent camping.But I do use it sitting out on my porch and it has made that a lot more enjoyable by cooling the air in hot, humid, Arkansas.It was easy to figure out how to use. The 4 included freezer bottles are handy and I love that it has casters so you can roll it around where you want it.It holds a lot of water so not having to constantly refill.I feel like it was a good price and works as advertised and I am anxious to use on a camping trip. Hopefully soon.
