We bought the 8x6 goal for garden use based on the fact that this is the brand that our local youth football club uses and so made the assumption that they must be able to stand up to a fair bit of use.It turned out to be very easy to assemble and stable enough to move around for mowing the grass etc.The only drawback, and hence 4 stars not five, is that one of the net strings has snapped after only a couple of months use. This was easily repaired but it did surprise me that this happened so soon.All in all, a nice goal though.Edit: Another month gone by and now the number of net strings broken is up to 5. I'm beginning to think that the net material isn't up to the job. This is happening during the summer months and I'm wondering whether the net will last through the winter in one piece...football is a winter sport so the net really should be able to stand up to weather and having a ball kicked against it. That is, after all, the purpose of the net.The goal frame itself is fine but it tends to become a little annoying when you have to keep repairing something only bought a few months ago.

I bought this as a birthday present for my grandson's 9th birthday. I also bought him the same one for his 8th birthday ! He now has his own football pitch ! I think the fact that I have bought a second time from the same supplier and same item speaks for itself ! Excellent quality goalpost which has withstood a hard Derbyshire winter in the garden and is like new. My grandson is tall for his age and I think the posts will last him a few years yet. Definitely five stars on all scores 😂

One very happy 9 year old! Bought as a birthday gift, it was easy to assemble, though there were two conflicting instructions about which way up the net went. It was actually pretty apparent which way up the net went, so confusion lasted but moments. The only real issue we had was with the clips that you use to strap the net to the frame - really, really tight! It's all done however and we now have a super-robust, really big, football net in our garden that my son and his friends love. Note: remember to keep moving it around; it's heavy and the grass under the frame dies back really quickly!

The goal had clear and easy instructions to piece together. The plastic of the posts is obviously thick giving it strength. No complaints at all about construction or quality of the posts or the net.In the garden my 10 year old can welly a football really hard and this goal had no problems, if the ball hits the post it bounces away without the goal being knocked over or bumped out of position - I use the stakes provided to fix it to the ground. The net is also thick and durable so I expect this to last very well for years to come and again is suitable for a regular football being hit quite hard into it.Great goal, perfect for a domestic garden playing with the kids

These goals are just great. They arrived 1 day after ordering by courier. I opened the box and checked all parts were there and then with the instructions, which are pretty easy to follow, I had the 8ft x6ft goals, with net and clips, erected in no time! (actually 32 minutes to be exact! and I'm a woman!)They are really sturdy and not flimsy in any way. The net is of good quality and the clips which hold the net in place are great and there are plenty of them. My 2 boys have played for hours with them over the weekend and they have had number of balls kicked at them without movement. They come with arched shaped stakes which hold the goals totally in the ground.

Have purchased two of these goals before Xmas 2017 for grandsons they were excellent stil in use highly recommend this one is another Xmas present for 2018 bought a bit early in case they sold out .wont be undone or used until December 2018 but recieved in what appears top condition .my son and son in law both run boys football teams and both recommended the Samba as the strongest and one of the best to buy for gardens hope my You gestrandson enjoys as much as his two older cousins have.

We bought the 8ft by 6ft version which is perfect size for my 11 year old son and our garden. He had a smaller 6ftx4ft from a different company which had become too small and had started to fall to pieces. At the time I thought that was OK but the SAMBA is far better, with thicker posts, good interlocking at the joints and a strong net. I cannot see this goal breaking and it has already had lots of hard shots whacked against the posts and cross bar. It was really easy to assemble, instructions were provided but we didn't need them as it was so straight forward. The only slightly tricky/fiddly bit was putting the clips on the net but once you get the hang of it they are also easy. The goal arrived ahead of time and was well packaged. I would definitely recommend and for the price I cannot see how you could get better.

Great goal bought for a nephew for his birthday, easy to erect, robust looking frame and free target which is proving great fun. The delivery was seem less - great service from the courier DPD, delivered as advised by text by the gentlemen specified in the text. Good old fashion great service. All round great experience. If you need a children’s football goal would recommend it.
