No cooler than laminate flooring
The mat isn't really cool. It's pretty much the same temperature as my laminate flooring. My cats sleeps next to the mat, they only show interest when they want to sharpen his claws

Smaller than expected. Unfortunately my dog just wanted to bite it instead of sitting on it. Its nice to put your feet on though!

Not suitable for chewy puppies
Sadly my puppy had chewed a hole in the side within 10 minutes allowing the gel to come out. May say more about my puppy than the item but disappointingly not robust enough for chewy puppys even though marketed for that age.

Very pleased how quick it came
Very pleased how quick it came. Its of good quality an able to fold in half to pack away. My dog has long hair an gets a little warm, she's taken to it already..one happy pooch!! '
