Argo

Most people would not purchase a score-only soundtrack for a drama unless they had seen the film itself, which in my case is true. Desplat's score is first class but the CD's presentation is anything but. What you see on the cover is the extent of the artwork. There is no booklet, not a single picture...not even a production credit other than Desplat's name. Not even a copyright notation. It seems that this was manufactured as a no-frills equivalent to downloading the music for those who may not be able to or choose to download. The label is Water tower. Or they think they're doing the buying public a favor. All 4 stars is for Mr. Desplat and the fine score he wrote. Had I known this was going to be a bargain basement presentation, I would have downloaded it or waited to buy it used. I wonder if Affleck knows this was how the soundtrack release was handled. And this film won an AA for Best Picture.

Argo is fun, suspenseful, and holds your interest from beginning to end. Although it is not quite historically accurate, it is well-acted, a terrific story and you may find yourself saying, "Argo f---- yourself"!

Wonderful music, it brings you to Iran instantly. Although it sometimes does not give you the extact feeing of fear which you can sense while watching the movie...

This is an amazing movie. Beautifully acted by every performer especially Ben Affleck and perfectly directed!! A must See for sure!!

I haven't heard anything about cd-r albums, manufactured by Amazon, so when I wrapped out this, I was shocked... I gave it to a friend of mine as present...

You'll enjoy this movie. It holds ones interest from beginning to end. Directing, acting, and cinamatography couldn't be any better.

The sound track is a magnificent as the film. I knew it was hauntingly good during the film but never anticipated the charm of it on its own. Melodic passages not very familiar to usinthe west but intreaguingnone the less. A must have item.

I thought the music was so suited in style and atmosphere to the superb "Argo" (best movie of the year by far). This CD proves that the soundtrack is every bit as fine as it seemed during the movie and stands alone as wonderful music from an obviously highly talented film composer.
