I only have the 3DS XL, and this game works great on there. **Q: Is there download play? Can you play with someone next to you without wifi?** A: Yes, there is download play similar to Mario Kart DS, only one person needs to own the game, but everyone needs a 3DS. However, those without the game are limited to playing as Shy Guy with the standard kart. There is no need to be connected to a wifi network for this feature (although the 3DSs connect to each other using their wifi radios). **Q: Are you able to play as our lord and savior Waluigi?** A: No :( but you are able to pay your respects by playing on his waluigi pinball track **Q: Could a 5 yo play this?** A: 5 year old these days I would say yes. On closer inspection of the cartridge it has usa in the code on front. I can only presume that it is regional or that nintendo are getting our money as a free loan to prop up a failing company. have your money for a few days untill you get a refund, no cost loan!!!!!!!!. Anyway DO NOT BUY THIS its a scam, told me to keep 2 cartridges and will get a refund. I think i was sold a piece of plastic with no software on it at all, FREE LOAN FOR NINTENDO/ AMAZON.
