Children are always excited to be reward, however, research shows children respond better to visual aids. Not only can the colours and designs be stimulating but having the physical object helps a childs brain understand better. This is particularly helpful with younger kids or those with autism, adhd and other special needs. So what can this reward chart be used for? As the chart is generic it can be reused multiple times for different purposes. For example, younger children can use it for potty or toilet training. Older children may wish to use it as a homework or revision planner. The charts main purpose is for children's behaviour. You have a column on the left to write down behaviour goals such as, stay in your own bed all night or eat all of your dinner. Across the top are the days of the week. Apply a star in the box if your child has achieved the goal that day. We make our reward charts by printing a digital image onto glossy photo paper. It is then laminated to make the chart durable. It can be wiped clean with a wet cloth so it can be used over and over again. Our charts are A4 in size.
