Good quality L-bracket, hard to use in portrait
This L-bracket fits my A7iii camera body perfectly. Lightweight and good quality aluminum. Finish is excellent and strong. The left side of the bracket (side where connection covers are located) is a bit confusing to me. My Arca Swiss ball head base is not long enough to secure the bracket when tilted to shoot portrait. The left side rail has only one side so it won’t lock down to the base plate. No instructions included.

The vertical side of the bracket is virtually useless. It only provides 1/2 inch of grip on the vertical aspect of the bracket. I have to hold the camera with my hand when shooting a portrait aspect. Since that introduces inevitable camera movement, why use a tripod at all? Well made, but unless you have a ball head clamp over 4 inches wide (RRS clamp is 2 inches) the portrait aspect is unusable.
