I spent ages researching on Amazon before choosing this silicone trivet and protective finger mitts. I'm glad I chose thisbundle, because it's a perfect fit inside my Crockpot Express multi cooker. It's sturdy but flexible with good,short, strong feet to keep food items cooked on it out of liquid in the base.The handles can be fastened together easily to make lifting it out of the pot a doddle. It's really easy to clean. The silicone finger mitts are better than many others on Amazon because they have a longer protective area which sits against the underside of your fingers and upper palm, reducing the chance of scalding yourself or burning your fingers. A definite five +++ score from me, quality at a very reasonable price. I did but a metal basket as well, with a handle and short legs to use in my multi cooker, because this item, excellent though it is, is not suitable for cooking lots of chopped up vegetables. It does a great job in coming baked stuffed apples though in just a few minutes... and much more. Buy it, you'll use it so much.

I use this constantly in my Instant Pot. I put potatoes on the trivet which comes with the pot, then this steamer with chopped carrots and fish wrapped in baking parchment. Perfect every time.

Items arrived promptly and well packaged. The silicone mitts are invaluable for getting things out of the multicooker when hot. The veg steamer is excellent for steaming veg but I was hoping that the 'feet' would be study enough to enable me to use it as a handled trivet when doing pot in pot cookery. I know I will make good use of it when cooking vegetables. Excellent value for money
