Just like a daring young man on a flying trapeze!!!
I never thought I would be coming here to write a review about a knife. The old me would consider it just another utensil and say, "if it gets the job done, it is good enough." I can't even imagine going back to the old me. This knife has changed my life! I actually enjoy slicing and dicing things now. This knife is extremely sharp and cuts through the everything with the greatest of ease (sometimes I even see myself as a daring young (wo)man on the flying trapeze, although it would probably be a bad idea with this knife in hand...anyway, back to the knife). The handle has a full tang which gives this knife added strength, the knife is well balanced and has a very comfortable grip. This was one of the best purchase I have made in a long time. I would definitely recommend this chef's knife to anyone who has lost their love of being in the kitchen, it could very well change your life too.

Excellent knife.
Well it’s been a little while since I purchased the knife. I grew up in a restaurant so I am a little picky when it comes to a good kitchen knife. Other reviews talk about the box it comes in. While it was a nice box and you could give as a gift without wrapping it. I didn’t have to worry about that since I bought it for myself, but my daughter liked it and keeps some of her things in it. So win win for me. The knife is very sharp and keeps a nice edge. It works well when I am dicing or slicing. I actually bought it to finish out my knife set because for some reason there was a empty spot in my knife block. It has fast become my go to knife. I would not hesitate to recommend this knife to anyone looking for a great knife.

What a Bargain!
I currently have very expensive knives in my drawer but this knife is equal if not better than all of them! It is super sharp, cuts through anything and as previous reviews mention it truly brings back the joy of cutting. It is a great bargain as well...I can buy 3 of these for the cost of one of my expensive knives. I hope Cuisinelogic comes out with different sizes and especially one with a serrated edge. Keep your products coming!!

Very high quality chef's knife!
I love this knife! It arrived very quickly and in excellent packaging. It was in a nice box on some sturdy foam, with a plastic piece protecting the tip. The handle is very solid and easy to grip. The knife is extremely sharp and cuts amazingly! I can't wait to use it more!

Impressive knife is a true bargain!
Beautiful, well balanced knife, excellent value for the money. Came in a nice gift box. Much better quality than I expected. Not quite as sharp as knives that cost 5 to 10 times more money, but I'd buy this one again in a minute! Highly recommended.
