This item worked for a month or so, and then right about the time that the time when I could return it was over, it quit working. When I try to use it, it will not stay in the right position to cut the part that needs to be cut in order to open the can. It goes up the side of the lid. I am going to have to throw it away, and I am really disappointed because I specifically bought this because it was described as heavy duty.
