Pack-42 Car LED Interior Lights Combination Set, T10 31mm 36mm 41mm LED for Vehicle Map Dome Door Trunk License Plate Light Width LightS, Universal Bulb Replacement for Cars (White)

I picked these up to replace my original parts. Out of the bag one was already broken with a cracked solder joint. Replacement was easy enough. During the day it is hard to notice a difference, as the original lights were warmer and provided a little bit versus the white light of the LED. At night it did better. It had about the same brightness as the original.

For those of you who don't have formal education in electronics, these are Light Emitting Diode (LED) bulbs. A diode is a device that only allows current to flow in one direction. In your car there is a positive side and a negative side to each lightbulb. With old incandescent bulbs, it just heated up a wire and didn't care which way it went in. But with LEDs, if you put this in backward, it won't light up and you'll think it is defective. But it's not. Just flip the bulb around and insert it the other way and voila! it works! They should really include something that says that in the instructions but there are no instructions at all so I'm taking off a star for that. At first I thought more than half of these were bad but then I realized they were just backward. Once inserted the other way, they all work flawlessly. So again, if it had instructions it would have been 5 stars. They do have the following language in the "About this Item" part of the product page, but it should be called out more so people notice it: "If the LED does not light up, just simply flip it 180 degrees to reverse the polarity".The top item in the description bullet points should say:IF IT DOESN'T LIGHT UP, FLIP THE BULB AROUND!!!Just a PSA for those of you considering LED bulbs for your car.

The lights themselves are great - super bright and white, big improvement over the incandescent bulbs that came with my vehicle. These come packaged in a ziplock bag, and a few of the bulbs had one of the wire leads bent over - you have to be careful to check for that before installing them.Recommend.
