The Legend of Zelda - Twilight Princess (GameCube Version) (Prima Authorized Game Guide)

Due to circumstances, I ended up with a beautifully hard bound verson of this book. I had the opportunity to compare the two (hardbound vs paperback). Even though it was a "spot check" comparison, it appeared the contents were the same down to the page numbers with the only differences being the collector's book had additional pages of checklists at the end and the last page was a Table of Contents - a "nice to know" before purchasing. The book was easy to follow and helpful. It would have been nice if the screen prints were a bit larger, but a very minor inconvenience. It is a book well done for those who like a walkthrough. Honestly, I was surprised at how completely in depth this game guide was. The entire book was a complete walk through that included every single item, golden bug, piece of heart, and rupee chest you could happen upon in the game. As long as you have this guide from the start of the game, you'll be in amazing shape.However, god help you if you didn't, because figuring out WHERE the descriptions of where items are is pretty tricky. Most game guides have a small index in the back listing items, pieces of heart, and extra items and it tells you where to find them and what you'll need to get them. Not so in this book. It does have something like that for hearts but not for anything else, so you end up having to flip manically through the book to find which chapter you missed a golden bug or empty jar in. Although it's easy to find which chapter you might have missed it in, it can be hard to figure out WHERE in the chapter it's in, because it's not marked clearly in the text.So, although this is the most in depth and awesome game guide I've stumbled across, I'm still only gonna give it 4 stars for lack of "being able to find stuff".

I liked all the pictures in the book, i tend to use those mostly and they gave lots of little hidden secrets (for those of you who like to play the game and then later go back for all the goodies). However the layout wasn't very easy for me to understand. Page by page i was never sure if i was looking reading left to right, and which of the "hidden secrets" i actually needed to do for the game and which ones i didn't. I'm just more of a gamer who likes things seperate. Main game play and then the extra bits.Overall i liked it though, it was very helpful for some parts and i liked to just compare what i planned on doing with what the book said.

I played Zelda games on Nintendoand computeer in the past, but that was years ago. I recently bought the wiiu for one reason only: to play the Zelda games . They have come a long way! This is a great game. The storyline is easy to follow. The temple puzzles are really fun and sometimes frustrating. The games lasts for many hours. I am a big fan. Can't wait to sample some of the other Zelda games. This one is well worth the cost and time.

This is a very detailed book. It has everything you need to know in order to complete the game, including all the optional sidequests and items. The text is a little hard to read and the author's notes seem a bit unnecessary. But all in all, this is a very good strategy guide if you need a little extra help with the game.

I grew up loving the Zelda franchise. I've played a number of them, and also play other games of this genera (Elder Scrolls, Fable, etc.). Now that I've got a full time job and a family, gaming time is few and far between, so having the guide to help me progress in a rapid manner is awesome. The guide is detailed, but the words and page color are fairly similar so it isn't the easiest to read when glancing over for help. Overall, though, I've made WAY more progress than before I had it. Good purchase.

Weighing in at 432 total pages and around five pounds, the Prima Version of the Legend of Zelda - Twilight Princess is a highly organized, very detailed walkthrough tome that is so useful it can be to a fault.The linear guide is useful in how to play the game in step by step order which eliminate the need for tons of backtracking. It comes also with pages dedicated to how to defeat enemies, if you can, and what sidequests there are to give you an edge later in the game.It does not get a higher rating because the linear aspects of the walkthrough do get extreme. Given the many, many, many, many, many pages, its tricky just to flip through the guide to find reference to a task that happens a hundred pages before or after where you are at in the game itself. The biggest problem is the type setting: in order to keep this guide to under five hundred pages they went with what looks like size 8 font, so it makes it a little hard to read. But with so much information I can imagine this guide being a thousand pages if the size font was 14.Still, for those who need the help and would like an order to what to do in the game, this guide is the ultimate source. At least it gets this average rating. I do recommend it.

A great help for Twilight Princess very good, good delivery times.

The book came quicker than expected, but it came with lots of exterior damage. When they say “good condition” it’s not. Don’t expect anything amazing because it’s a risk everytime you go with something labelled “good condition”
