Great features and performance, shame about the freezing.
The packaging is perhaps iPhone inspired and is unusually good quality, substantial thickness and presentation is a step up.The unit itself is high quality feeling for this price bracket, no cheap bare plastic but a rubberised surface, and quite decent chrome plated plastic. The image quality is very good both from colour balance, accurate rock solid exposure (intermittent direct sunlight does not dim the exposure) and the lens has unusually a very wide angle of view. The lens is decent quality with no noticeable vignetting (darkening in the corners generally present with wide angle lenses). No real loss of sharpness in corners which I have seen on some footage of dashcams on youtube, where number plates are blurred. The plane of focus on the Kehan is very even. The disadvantage of a very wide angle of view is the resolving power of 1080 does not quite cut it reading number plates at a distance. If the viewing angle was less wide the plates would appear larger and easier to read. A trade of wide angle Vs size of objects. A good angle for recording touring footage. The unit I have is the GPS version with bundled 16gb SanDisk SIMTwo minor negatives- The LCD can be quite difficult to see in strong sunlight- images are oversharpened and look unnaturalIf taking into account just the above, I'd rate it a 5 star considering I bought it on Amazon offer at a discount. However my unit has serious software or hardware issues.- It stops recording in roughly 1 out of every 8 sessions- It freezes and has to be reset- After reset it asks do I want to recover the recording- Recovery of recording does not work and the unit freezesI assumed that maybe the supplied SanDisk Ultra card might not be fast enough with 15mb/s write speed so I bought a much faster SanDisk Extreme Plus 90mb/s write speed (even suitable for 4k resolution recording) but that did not help.SUMMARY: good design, good recordings but what use is a frequently freezing unit if it can't capture that critical moment.Distortion is reasonably controlled but you do get a little of the fish eyed effect.

Nice wide angle high res' dash-cam.
July 6th 2017.Well its' not available anymore... However it is still working... Occasionally it has a problem on start with a damaged file due to the small battery not having enough power to tide it over the ignition turn on, but you just press one of the buttons to delete the file and it then works. The reason for the update is that I was very nearly in a head on collision with a motor bike over taking on a slight bend.Lucky for me and my insurance I have a video of the the lead up to the crash..Wish I could find a comparable spec' dash cam. However this is still working so I will keep looking.------original review ~June 2015------Nice wide angle, HD video.Very long power cable. I was able to route around the windscreen and down the side of the door and under the passenger side glove box with enough cable to spare to actually plug this into the rear cig' lighter socket... The power connector is quite big.Mount seems firm and holds the camera fine. It's a little bit fiddly to remove the camera if you've forgotten how it is attached ;>>Works well at night and during the day.The only downside is the supplied software, it works but is a little noddy.Speed, G'force and position are stored in the video stream. The GPS position appears to be very accurate. The G'force sensitivity can be adjusted. The current recording is stored if the G'force trigger occurs. The speed only shows up correctly in the supplied software viewer.

Keep switches itself off, borderline of been dangerous while driving.
I have had this dashcam since Feb 16 and had nothing but trouble which other reviewers have reported. I just wish I have known about the problems before purchasing this.Having had the dash cam in the first week, the infamous switch off 'feature' was happening while driving. I have contacted Kehan, with with due credit, they were very responsive with their support and tried to help with resolving the problem. I have tried different SD cards, change the recording interval time as per suggestion, nothing helped with the problem, so I have to get a replacement. The replacement fair a bit better as it doesn't switch off as frequent, but it still shut itself down every so often, now the annoying voice announcement doesn't work anymore (maybe a blessing in disguise as it was annoying!!). When it switches itself off while driving, I am always tempted to switch it back on. I know this is dangerous, but you never know when there is that moment which you want to record and it isn't.Although the dash cam is still under warranty, I just don't have the confidence with a replacement, so I'll just buy another (better reviewed) brand and hope it will perform better.Would have given a 1 star for the product, but an extra star for the customer support.

Kept turning itself off after 1-2 minutes
Had three of these models in a row. Unfortunately each one had the same fault - after running for a few weeks it would shut down after a minute or two. I suspect it is something to do with using a micro SD card for storage. They should switch to on board memory, which I think would cure these problems.

Crisp, Clear, Wide Angle, Good All Round.
The Angle is very wide, very clear and works perfectly. Very impressed with this little dashcam, I hope it lasts longer then the others I've had. So far, "Kehan wishes me a good journey" and records brilliantly.

Dash Camera
Very impressed with the quality of the picture, very easy to setup. The only downside is the lack of night vision but you can make out most ofwhats going on. The GPS is a bonus.

only giving 1 star as although the camera is good, the suction mounts keep breaking
only giving 1 star as although the camera is good, the suction mounts keep breaking, this is the third one that has broken, at this rate it will cost more than the camera.
