I was excited to get these, until I got them. I've only used the button-shaped pins, but they are much shorter than the flower head pins I bought at JoAnn and at least two were already so blunt they almost messed up my fabric the first time I used them (two min after opening the package the evening they were delivered). I put them away and pulled out my old ones. Pretty, cute, great for maybe a kid's basket? I'll keep them because later on I found I actually needed a shorter pin for another part of the project, but I'm not using them on delicate, thin, or expensive fabrics.
