Being the organizer and leader of a large social bicycle club here in Fort Lauderdale with over 1675 members and growing daily, the safety, health and well-being of our riders is always priority one. The same goes for our mounts as well. It is discussed before every slow roll. And one thing all my members know about me is that I love customization and personalization. And if it serves both safety and customization then roll on I say! My local bike shop Cycling Forza in Coral Springs could tell you how much they make from our patronage. And not just for technical stuff but for lots of other fun stuff as well, gadgets, toys and accessories are always welcome. I like to gift away some small safety item to our new members at the beginning of each slow roll, most often it will be a safety whistle to wear while riding. Sometimes the gifting goes to another level. It might be a lighting kit, a set of pedals or grips, locking kits, occasionally even a pair of gloves or a helmet. I encourage my members to keep their mounts very well maintained in order to not get left behind (in reality we would never let anyone get left behind). Anything that keeps you out of danger and improves the experience of riding is for us. This ULIP Tail Light with Turn Signals &Wireless Remote Control Bicycle Rear Light certainly fills this need. I so much wanted to give a five star rating. But the issue is with the remote and not necessarily the light unit. The remote does not charge up with a wire or cable. You need to keep batteries around. And it mounts with a rubber band. The light unit is very cool. First of all it has a giant tonka toy like clamp for super easy mounting. The wide grip allows for many different mounting possibilities. Once the clamp is in use you can apply even more adjustment behind the light assembly for direction. Besides the flashers/turn signals the light has several modes, as do most of these lighting kits. Thankfully has the charging cable with it. No pairing was needed. I really like this particular kit. Normally I gift away these reviewed and evaluated cycling items from the Vine to some lucky club members. This time I may actually keep this one for myself. After all I have five bikes in my stall to choose from. And as always remember:Ride Safe, Ride Strong. Ride Happy!!

Best light for a scooter to let people know that you are turning

The clamp didn't tightly hold on to my mudguard and the wireless controller was tricky to use and it is not possible to see what mode the light is in without stopping and dismounting.

Works really great. Easy to install, pretty bright, it’s taken plenty of knocks and still works so plenty durable, battery life seems to be pretty good. Only complaint I have is that I’m using it for an E-scooter and no matter how I mount it or how tight I put it on, it falls off with a slight bump. Taking it off snapped it off the body so unfortunately I won’t be buying another one.

The Tail-light itself is very bright and the signal LED's flow very well. The mounting clamp is very strong and secure. The 360 degree ball joint makes adjusting this very easy. The remote works well and if the battery were to die you can still use the rechargeable Tail-light with the On/Off Button on it until you get a new battery for the Remote. The remote battery should last at least 6 months to a year, so I'm fine with it being a Watch Battery and not a rechargeable one.This is a MUST HAVE device for anyone who rides on a Stand Up e-Scooter since using hand signals can be tricky. Better to have both hands on the Handle Bar and use the remote buttons to let others know when you're going turn.I'm very happy with this and do recommend it.

Have been wanting to find a directional light for my scooter or e-Bike and this one does the job perfectly. Just turn it on before pulling out and use the remote which you can attach to your handle bar to give others behind you the information they need of what direction you plan to turn. Great for added safety. The light also has various modes if you just want to flash a back light for added visibility. Charges nice from a USBC connector and comes with its own cable. Well built and does the job nicely. Clamp holds tightly.

Sequence is solid red diamond, slow 1/2 second blink red diamond, slow blink all lights, left/right arrows cycling outward. Light reverts to steady diamond when power cycled.In use, the remote isn't backlit. Has left/right/mode buttons. Mode button cycles through the same modes as with the button on the light.
