Giochi Unitigu573 - Catan cities and knights

I bought this Italian version because I couldn't find an English language version of the expansion pack anywhere and I thought I didn't need the instructions or anything, I was just buying the pieces. But the pieces are horrible. Cheap and plastic, and not resembling the traditional wooden pieces at all. They look like formless splats and are as unpleasant to the eye as they are the touch. I don't know whether this is the Italian version or just the new version of Catan pieces. Either way, the manufacturer should be ashamed.
