Works as intended. Fits fine and raised my handlebars to a more comfortable position.
I recently began riding my mountain bike after many years. I wanted to raise the handlebars to a more comfortable position and didn’t realize they weren’t adjustable. After doing some research, the only way to raise them was to add an extension. I chose the Trenztek model because it offered variable heights by the use of rings. Since I didn’t know how much I needed to raise them, I thought this was a good choice as I could experiment. Adding more rings which is easily done increases the height of the handlebars. Now with the handlebars raised just over an inch or so, riding is much more comfortable as now I’m not bent over as much.

Easily installed on fitness bike - made my wife happy
Bought this for my wife's fitness bike. I was able to install easily and ensure all stem bolts were secure. The stem comes with spacers and a long stem bolt. Only caution is to carefully thread the stem bolt to get it started and gently tighten until the stem cap pops into place. There is no creaking or flex in the newly installed stem, or existing parts. My wife felt it made a difference for her on a recent long- er ride.

Very good almost great (aqua blue)...
I purchased this after returning the same produce from "BlueSunshine" which uses the same stock photos, but was the cobalt blue instead of this, the aqua blue.Three complaints, just to get it out of the way: 1. The outer diameter of the included 5mm spacers is just a little narrower than the outer diameter of the base of the riser, giving it a bit of a "hacked" appearance. 2. I found I needed a 2mm spacer to get everything set up just right; it'd be nice if that had been included in the kit 3. The riser and included top cap has the brand name "WAKE" etched on it; Trenztek it appears is a reseller's name, whereas WAKE is a brand name I see frequently on other websites.Installation is as easy as installing a stem (no instruction are included). If you're new to this, the important thing to know is to tighten the top cap just enough to get any slop out of the bicycle's steering, then tighten the riser and stem clamp bolts to lock everything in place.

5 Stars for this
This worked perfectly for my bike. Biggest problem was me finding the right sized allen wrench. The additional rings matched exactly my bike. The Bike Store wanted $ 60 and $ 25 to install it. I did it myself in 5 minutes. Great Product.

Weak hardware
I installed a couple of these by different brands on my other bikes. Wanted to give this brand a shot on my wife's bike. One of the screws broke while installing. The seller was very cool and sent me a replacement very quick. Was a bit busy during the bolidays and went over the return time window unfortunately. When finally got around to it had another hardware problem, a stripped thread on one of the the of the screws. So, it did not work for me.

You may have to stop by the bike shop and get a spacer or two so the fit is perfect. They supply quite a few spacers
I was having issues with my neck hurting on my road bike so I got this to lift my handle bar higher. You may have to stop by the bike shop and get a spacer or two so the fit is perfect. They supply quite a few spacers, but there's always a little room to make the fit right for you. I now sit up higher on the bike and it's so much better on longer rides. In some cases you may need to swap out your stem for a shorter one. This would be the case on flat bars, or if you mostly ride your road bars on the flats. If you typically ride the hoods you can just tilt the bars up a little and be fine. Bear in mind that height and length sometimes have to be changed together for you to have a good position.
