Squeem Seductive Open Bust Shapewear Vest: Enhances curves, adjustable compression and straps, back smoothing, steel boning

Okay, time for a review from a big girl! At size 3X, I was obviously wary. It preached miracles and had pictures of women wearing it that I wouldn't normally associate with actually needing something like this. But hey, I do like miracles so why not? I bought this not with the expectation of looking like a swimsuit model, but rather with the hope of smoothing out some of the lumpy bits...and as large as I am, those lumps are practically humps. While I'm a 3X, I'm so worried about my various lumps and bumps that I tend to buy 4X and 5X clothing so that I can be positive it won't stick in unflattering ways, which leads me to look like I'm wearing giant pillowcases most of the time. I've had this product about two hours now and I can say it's marvelously comfortable. I can move and bend in it, and although movement is stiff it's not restricted - it's just very stringy. It's almost like doing very lightweight crunches when you try to bend. It immediately smoothed my lines out and I feel confident wearing this 3X shirt that's more flattering to my figure (I DO have a figure, you know...it's just more of a day glass than an hour glass :P ). All in all, this item is wonderful and I'll be buying more in the future. I purchased a 4X and it's roomer than expected, so I'll definitely go with my actual size when buying the next one. Forget looking 'skinnier' - this item is not THAT miraculous. But it does make your shape more flattering and allows clothing to fall on your frame in a much more flattering manner. Not hot, not breath-restricting. A slight rubbery smell but not overpowering and it surely goes away with a bit of use. This product is fantastic and I cannot recommend it enough - it even improves posture and keeps my back straight with no effort or discomfort! The bottom DOES roll up when I sit down, however it pops back into place when I stand and I think that if I put the top of my pantyhose over it it won't do that.

I had to read the reviews before even considering buying the vest. After I saw it got good reviews I went for it. I got lucky because I ordered the right size right off the bat! Let me tell you, I'm wearing tees I had stopped wearing before because of my jelly roll. With the vest I can wear anything I want as long as it's a dark colored material. I got the black vest. I've been wearing it since the end of April, and it's July now. Let me add that I get more men looking at me. I already have an hour glass-type figure, so with the Squeem it gives me an even more curvier look. I live and work in Iraq (base), and it is HOT here, so I find that I'm sweating a lot underneath it when I go outside. Sweat puddles down the back of my pants, and in the front. While it is a little of a pain I just dismiss it...afterall it is hot out here. So far it's held its elasticity pretty well. I have to wash it often because I sweat so much. I actually wear it for 12 hours (normal work hours for me), seven days a week! I did find that I had a few pimple-type bumps on my back that became itchy, but soon went away. The vest tucks nicely into my pants, but every now and then when i stand up I have to remember to tuck it in some as it shifts. The upper portion could stand to be a bit smaller as it is a little loose on me. Maybe I'm just loosing fat and need a smaller size. I think I'll be wearing this one for a few more months before getting a smaller size. I feel more confident with it on, and even use it when I go to the gym. I can't leave my living quarters without it. It's become a part of my wardrobe, and I am so happy I got it. I can wear tight fitting women's tees and don't feel conscious at all, but rather "sexy" and curvacious. It also gave my breasts a nice lift. It is well worth the money. The manufacturer recommends NOT to use lotions of any kind while you wear this. I've seen a few reviews where the rubber has become detached, DUE to them wearing lotions... so DONT put on any type of lotion under it... Mine has lasted quite a bit, that's for sure---EVEN in EXTREME and HAZARDOUS (DRY) conditions! I say "GO FOR IT!"

I bought my first vest in June, beige, medium size for waist training. It is a very sturdy piece but it has a very, very strong smell. I wore a thin cammy under it for a few days so the smell wouldn't stick to my skin. I also use baby powder and it works pretty well. It is true, the first days it does seem to bunch up a bit, especially at the waist, but all that goes away. It's not really a product issue, it's the vest adapting to your shape and viceversa. The stitching will show through tight clothing, so I do wear a cammy over it occasionally It's recommended that you start only with two hours a day, but I did five, and was wearing my vest a full 8-10 hours by the end of that week. I truly wasn't expecting my lower back pain to go away, it's not what I had bought this for, so it's a HUGE plus. I sit in front of a computer, so this vests helps me sit up straight. I was told by someone that it I wouldn't be able to go down to a smaller size for another three months, but I bought my black small size vest in two months. I am thrilled!!! The small vest does seem to be a little bit shorter at the torso, but nothing impossible to deal with. I recommend Squeem 100% ***Update 11/16/13 So, the fact that the vest in a small size was a bit short did become an issue. There was no way to adjust it to a comfortable place. I still stuck through it until it RIPPED!!!! I was very, very disappointed. I went to a local store to buy a cincher so I could continue with waist training. The cincher, is tighter than the vest, but it does fit more comfortably. If at all possible, try it on before you buy. ***Update 1/15/15 So I bought the small vest again last year, and I'm completely addicted. I'm in here to buy yet another one, and I'm debating on getting the waist cincher or yet another vest, since the vest helps my posture immensely. I'm upgrading my review to four stars until I try out the waist cincher once more.

I love my Squeem! I am 5ft and 130lbs. My wast was 37 inches before wearing the squeem. The first time I put it on it was really tight but it was the right fit. It smoothed everything out in my midsection and gave me an hourglass shape and flattened my tummy. It also helped my back and posture.but made my lower back a lot sore at first. It was really hard to wear at first. Really tight and hard to eat with it on. It makes you feel full faster. I wear it everyday when I leave for work. I try to just have small meals and snacks throughout the day and after dinner I take it off to digest my food. I could literally feel it pushing on my insides which I think is part of the reason I lost inches. It pushed things in more. Then put it back on before bed. At first I had to take it off in the mddle of the night but now I can sleep through the night with it. After 4 days It streched just a little and formed to my body more. By this time I was totally used to wearing this. At two weeks I was putting it on the second hook and I lost 2 inches. Before 3 weeks I was 6 inches smaller! I went from 37 inches to 31 inches in less than 3 weeks! This is with minimal exercise. I only did light workouts 3 days total within the 3 weeks. I feel I lost inchesb for different reasons. One reason I think is because it squeezed my insides together. That was only uncomfortable for 4 days. I think maybe if you don't eat a good healthy diet this would cause heartburn and indigestion for some people. The second reason I think inches were lost is due to fat being redistributed to different areas. Also sweating which is just water weight, but when you sweat you release toxins inside your fat cells and your fat cells will shrink. Eating less was also a factor because it makes you full faster. I had back pain from a car accident and I have no pain after wearing this. It also motivates you to move around more because it's more comfy when standing. I think it motivates you to be more healthy and fit. So this really worked for me. You do have to be patient and motivated to get through the ucomfortable stage in the beginning. I did wear this a lot. Maybe 8 hours durring the day and then 6 to 8 hours durring the night. But of course less the first three days. I love it and I will be getting another one!

I was really keen on buying Squeem products after reading so many raving reviews so on impulse, I had bought two items at a go - the Squeem Magical Lingerie Shapewear, Perfect Waist, Firm Compression, Cotton & Rubber, Waist Cincher, Beige, Extra Small and Squeem Magical Lingerie Shapewear, Firm Compression Miracle Vest, Black, Small. I was hoping to experience a good and noticeable change so that I can recommend this to my family - we all have "fat genes". Firstly, I started with the vest which is generally good at tucking in the waist BUT the boning BROKE around the smallest part of my waist in less than a month! Furthermore, after gently washing it a few times and leaving it to dry, avoiding the sun, I start to notice the rubber is already very worn. I thought it could be from my washing but I've never had this issue with the other cinchers. Makes me feel like the one I got is simply made of cheap material. I admit though, it does the job of tucking it in but it's definitely not seamless and with the broken boning, it cuts into any top/dress I put over it so I'm left to wear only my $3 singlets over it to avoid damaging my clothes - I end up wearing SO MANY LAYERS under the ridiculously hot sun. (I'm in sunny Singapore). The back also has very ugly folds that refuse to straighten out no matter how I tug and adjust it, regardless if I'm standing or sitting. I started using the waist cincher after about 2 and a half months of putting up with the broken vest. The waist cincher also gives the same problem with the folds at the back which was even more obvious than the vest and the boning broke for this too! Due to the ugly folds, I only wore this at night during bedtime so I don't see any cause for the boning to be bent and broken! I started trying other brands of cinchers and they never gave me any broken boning issues so I believe the cause is the cheap quality material from these two squeem products. I am really disappointed with my purchase. For the price I had paid, I expected more, considering Squeem is more expensive than most and supposedly more reputed for the effectiveness. I'd have returned the items if it weren't for the fact that I'm now overseas in Singapore and it's too much hassle. Overall, I'd say this is not worth it at all. Purchase at your own risk. Hope no one else has to be as unfortunate as me.

I'm 5'8 and typically wear a size 8. I consider myself average except for my tummy, which is why I bought this product. When I first put it on, it was certainly tight, and actually made me feel like I was having a hot flash. It is rubber on the outside and does make you warm. The cloth on the inside is very helpful, but when you take the garment off your skin will smell like rubber and be sticky from the moisture ( not very romantic ). This wasn't terrible, but you will notice. I wore this around the house the first day and simple tasks like bending to get items out of lower cabinets was uncomfortable, this garment is very stiff which I guess is what it is intended to do. It is great if you're not moving. HA! Day 2, I'm not giving up on this just yet, so I put it on in the morning and hope to wear it all day. Again, not easy to bend and move in. The garment has begun digging into my waist. My upper abdomen looks great in it, but the part of my waist between the upper and lower abdomen now has a defining crease. This has made me more selfconscious. I'm walking around more worried about the huge crease between my upper and lower abdomen. hmmm.. Guess the garment does "give you a waist". Now after several hours of running errands, in and out of the car, unloading groceries, etc. The garment started to pucker in the back and slowly creep up a little. This caused me great concern while walking around in public. Worried if my lower back looked weird while in the grocery store. As promised I wore this ALL day. My hubby and I went to dinner, and you can not lean in your chair. I'm serious here, just leaning over your plate to take a bite isn't easy. Almost funny the first time you try. This garment keeps you very very straight! I definitely knew I had it on, which makes you wonder if you're acting strange. So distracting during dinner, that I spent the entire dinner worried about this garment, was it moving, was the back still puckered, don't lean over to say something, careful getting up, etc.....GEE! Didn't realize this was going to be all consuming. The garment did get more comfortable because it stretched a little, but this is obvious because of the waist creasing and back puckering. I did wear a slightly tighter shirt, and unless it was skin tight you're not going to see the hooks. But, you will notice the crease in the waist and puckering in the back. Now, while sitting upright and not moving at the dinner table, I look down and my upper thighs are bulging. Bulging at the crease between my hip and thigh. I'm guessing the compression of the vest has pushed everything down. Luckily I placed my napkin on my lap high enough to cover the unsightly thigh bulge. By the end of the day, the straps have rubbed the front of my shoulder, a little tender there. Ultimately, would I wear it again, maybe from time to time when I feel the garment is needed. Such as a formal dinner, etc. I'll just need to wear it when I don't mind the constant distraction just to look thinner, and don't have a romantic evening planned. The rubber smell and sticky skin will not help your love life. Hope this helps...

1 week later 10/16, I have been wearing the squeem now for 1 week immediately on 10/8 when I initially put it on I began at the 2nd notch. My baby pouch at the bottom is slowly melting away. When I first put it on the lower part of my belly would not tuck in but this morning it did! I don't feel it throughout the course of the day. Because of the thermal material in the inside, you sweat very little and you do have a slight itch (who don't after sweating toxins). But no signs of rashes. I am used to this too because I have tried sweat bands for the belly too. So this is no surprise! I am just waiting for my DAY when I order the MEDIUM but it will be no time soon as I want my monies worth from this garment. I will be PURCHASING again! OH, OH, OH must'n I not forget: Ladies it's important that you get the size of your shirt please don't go too small in the size.No need to hurt yourself trying to look like A BARBIE doll!Don't purchase a SMALL when in fact you really LARGE! Until next time... I will continue to enjoy the "SQUEEM I SCREAM"! Got mines today! (10/8) As I have always been a Shapewear Queen and always finding a garment to accentuate a waist that I once didn't have. Immediately when I got my package out of the mail I put it on and to my surprise VIOLA! It did it's MIRACLE gave me a WAIST and a more defined BACKSIDE! It did a number with my two girlfriends as well! This is a plus for the nightlife but REALLY if they must sit high HECK I'll take that too. :) (Not a bad thing) Since finding the (SFCMVS) it has been far the best! It arrived as described in the description. In the many reviews I have read most if not all customers reviews. The smell of the rubber from the material (minor). You can smell it very faint although can be annoying. I just simply used my Febreeze for fabrics a gave it a small mist of freshness! I mean after (4 babies total)with (2 c-sections)the waist and rear met up and there was my tire for many years. I was looking for a way to separate the two. I am petite 4'10 and 177lbs and 40D bust 44 waist(imagine) so you get that picture, right? I am looking to see what altered results I will get now since in combination I am also doing green smoothies daily. To the customers who has skepticism SQUEEM I SCREAM! SQUEEM I SCREAM! After giving birth to my daughter almost 10 years ago, I noticed that my abdomen wouldn't flatten. I couldn't figure out what was wrong because I'm very active and slender (except my stomach area). Well, after some time I was finally diagnosed with diastasis recti. Basically, diastasis occurs when the abdominal muscles seperate to make room for the growing baby. After the baby is born, the muscles stay seperated, allowing the internal organs to "spill" forward. This gave me the illusion of looking 4-5 months pregnant when I wasn't. After looking for solutions and exercises for this condition, I came across the Squeem Miracle Vest. I ordered it and it works great! I wear it all day and after a month my stomach is flattening and my back pain has decreased. It helps pull those muscles back to the original position. By the way, if you have diastasis DO NOT do regular sit-ups. If you're an expectant mother, have a Squeem Vest handy to bind your belly after giving birth. Nobody told me the secret, but I'm telling you! It's reversible. One side is cotton, the opposite is rubber. I use the rubber side during exercise because it removes excess water. I wear the cotton side during normal activity. I can wear it under tight fitting clothes without the lumps and bumps that one can get from other shapewear. This is a high quality product. It keeps its shape. I've had this vest for a while and it's still very sturdy. The hooks haven't loosened and the boning is resilient. After wearing it everyday all day, I'm still on the first row. It's also very easy to clean. I really love this vest and I'm going to order more. I must admit though, it was painful the first day. I had headaches and abdominal pain. I could only wear it for a few hours at a time. Now I can wear it all day pain free. Finally, I LOVE when a company makes a quality product that lives up to the claims. I don't really bother writing reviews online, but because this worked so well for me, I thought that I'd chime in.

Edited: I originally ordered the size according to measurements (as recommended went with the bigger size as I was between two sizes). It was way too big; it was actually loose at the bottom. This caused a huge headache as I needed it by a certain date, so I had to find something that works in a thight timeline, lots of frustration, plus for some strange reason the smaller size I needed was significantly more expensive? Anyhow, in the correct size this is the best& my favorite piece of shapewear! It looks good, does the job and...wait for it....is actually quite comfortable! Just beware of their chart you may want to go with the smaller size if between 2 sizes BUT everyone is shaped differently, I, for example have a longer torso and my hips are quite narrow and not big when comparing to waist so this may all need to be considered. But after all it was worth it.

This is my second squeem purchase. I decided to buy this vest to try and minimize the appearance of back fat. This did the job. However, my torso is very short and I found that the top of the bustier dug into my bust and as with my previous squeem, the waist area bunches up. With that said, I'm still happy with the way this makes me look in dresses. Quality is excellent. The smell is not bothersome (wash before use).
