Lion Rampant Wall Plaque The heraldic lion used in the Royal Standard of Scotland is said to represent the strength of Scots and their fighting prowess in battle. The symbol of the Lion Rampant has been associated with Scotland for centuries, and was adopted as "the Arms of the Dominion of Scotland" in 1222 by Alexander II when it was used on his Great Seal. This plaque arrived way before I expected, in perfect beautiful condition! It looks just as good if not better than the photo. The striping gradient of the resin really puts off a carved stone look and feel. So very pleased with my purchase, I would recommend this seller to anybody! Just note, items ship from Scotland so may take some time when ordering into the states. Well worth the wait though!
