These spring type benders were used to re-route a 10ft section at the end of a 3/8" copper tubing oil line. The source valve was turned off and residual oil was drained from the line. A 10ft. section of 1/4" diameter, sst stranded wire was inserted into the inside diameter of the 3/8" copper tubing to be re-routed, leaving an inch or so of the 1/4" sst wire exposed for easy extraction later on. This cable was inserted to afford more protection against the 3/8" copper tubing from crimping. The 10ft section of 3/8" copper tubing was successfully rolled up into a 12 inch diameter roll to get around obstacles, unrolled and re-routed as planned.
