Defective, Don't waste your money, Move On.
It requires an audio cable AND a micro USB cable to work. Makes a high pitch wine, and the micro USB port jiggles and randomly loses power, severing the video connection at the worst possible time! Mine eventually broke, in that the micro usb port FELL INTO the housing and I could not fix it!

I keep pulling this back out of my pile of junk cords only to get frustrated. it's never worked.
