Black Make-up Washcloths, 6 Piece Set

We stayed at a hotel that had these and they are life changing. No more makeup residue on white towels, and they make you feel fancier! Good quality, wash with fabric softener to keep as soft as possible. I even bought these as a gift for a friend of mine, who wouldn’t love these?

Have you ever ruined a lighter colored washcloth trying to wash eye make-up and lipstick off at night? If yes, these are for you! These are great quality and never show any make-up stains because they are black. I thought the "make-up" words were embroidered onto the wash cloth but they are acutally woven into the non-looped band and not embroidered. This acutally is better because there is no chance of it coming unstitched. LOVE these!

I really liked the idea of having towels designated specifically for makeup purposes, especially since they are black and would not show stains. For the price, I expected plush, thick, soft towels (i.e. luxurious). These towels are made of a thin material and are not as soft as I had hoped and don't absorb much water. However, the embroidered text (makeup) is nicely done.

A friend of mine just opened her back yard house to Airbnb. She has lovely white fluffy towels that would easily be ruined with make-up removal. Therefore, I purchased these black wash clothes. I gave her three and kept three for guests to my home. They are the perfect size, are soft and are black which will save any light colored towels. Thank you for providing! I wouldn't mind purchasing again, but I would like to have something else imprinted on the cloth...maybe lips or "for her" in cursive print. Just a suggestion.

I'm sure it's not the merchants fault. These are NOT the same quality towel I used during a hotel visit to Cambridge MA. That towel was the reason I was willing to pay an outrageous $55 dollars for 6 face cloths. The cloths I received were your basic black, made in China, Walmart quality cloth. Thin as can be. I laundered them thinking maybe they will fluff up. No, one light cycle wash and threads were hanging off them. Pure junk. The store was willing to take a return but the shipping cost and return shipping cost weren't worth it.

disappointed in the quality of the terry cloth in these washcloths. They are very rough on the face.

I had come across this "Makeup" face cloth while staying at a Bed & Breakfast in Paso Robles CA. I was so pleased with the idea of saving my white / light colored towels, I researched the label information almost immediately after returning home. Pleased to find them on Amazon by the Turkish Towel Company, I ordered 6 - 2 for myself and the others to send to family and friends to try. Upon arrival, the cloths did not seem to be nearly the same quality of material or texture as the cloths at the B&B. First wash and a few laundries later, the texture has not improved and the color has faded much faster than I would have expected. (I doubt the B&B places new cloths daily?) I would give the quality of this item a "2" but still love the idea, so settled have on average of "3" stars only.
