Great Glove! Follow These Break In Instructons Though!!!
This is a very nice glove! Be aware though that the glove does not have an adustable strap as shown in the photo. It is adjustable by undoing the lacing and relacing at the wrist, but it is not velcro as the picture shows. The glove is great quality though. The leather is very nice, a little stiff at first, but that is how it should be with a quality leather glove.If you want to break in this glove DO NOT microwave or heat this glove in the oven! It is extremely bad for the glove! Yes, it will soften the leather, but it will weaken it as well. If you want the best method for breaking in a glove, search YouTube for 'Aso breaking in a glove'.You have to do this method and let it dry out and repeat about three times and then rub it down with Lanolin oil or a lanolin based glove oil in order to get it game ready. It takes a little more effort, but you will have a great glove that will actually last your child several years.
