Exactly what I require

I got these for use as spare bulbs for a set of string lights. Although LED bulbs have a claimed life expectancy of thousands of hours, they do occasionaly fail so it's nice to have some spares.This set of six were well packed in a cardboard box with a foam insert to protect them. A pack of two would have sufficed for spares but it's probably not worth selling them in less than a pack of 6. At a cost per bulb it's often only slightly cheaper to buy a whole set of string lights but one never needs that many spares as they rarely fail.The description says that the bulbs are waterproof, they are IP54 rated which means that they should protect against dust and spraying water in any direction but not powerful water jets or immersion. In use you should also consider the IP rating of the lampholder too.In use the lights are quite bright and appear identical in brightness and colour to the original bulbs that came with my light set. The product's web page states that the bulbs are dimmable but I've not been able to test this.IMPORTANT: This size of bulb, G40 with an E12 screw fitting, is also available in low voltage types which look identical. Before buying any please ensure that they are the correct voltage and wattage to suit your lights. One of the bulbs in our outdoor lights had gone and another was flickering so thought I'd order these and I must say I'm delighted.It was a quick in and out affair and they are basically, when on, a perfect match - colourwise and brightness - they provide a lovely glow.There's no flicker and they are, to my eyes at least, a genuine 2700k and all six worked - so I've got four spares.Very happy!

Avoir des ampoules de rechange immédiatement disponible est un plus.Ici ce sont des ampoules au culot fin donc ne pas se tromper pour avoir le même format.Même éclairage que les autres, strictement identique.Elles sont bien protégés dans leur etui.

Si tratta di semplici lampadine, ma meritano 5 stelle perchè anche se in plastica, l'ampolla è molto trasparente, sembra vetro, e poi l'imballo delle lampadine è davvero top.Inoltre sono perfette per le mie catene luminose da esterno per cui può sempre servire un ricambio da tenere a portata di mano.Le consiglio vivamente.
