I just used it for ants in the kitchen and it did not work. I hope that helps. **Q: Approx how long does a trap stay active? How do you know when to replace?** A: I used these and they did not attract a single ant. I found the traps with the syrupy liquid much better. So, I'm not sure how to tell if they are active or need to be replaced. **Q: Does this have adhesive and will it work on an outdoor wall?** A: It does not have adhesive to stick onto anything. I don’t know that it would work on an outside wall.
