Love it
As a Reading Specialist I have found this to be a practical tool. The students love it. We use it during silent reading. It always drops the noise level in the classroom. I also found it helps with concentration. Audio learners love it.

PVC phone would work better
I have to give this a bad rating after ordering two for my kids. The 2 pieces come apart at the slightest tug or touch and it's a pain to get them back together! I'm going to home depot and making my own with PVC pipe. I thought this would be a higher end alternative to the PVC phones, but I was wrong.

What a great product for building fluency! The hands free option is so helpful for tracking words. These are a welcome addition to my guided reading group and stations.
