I just didn't have the energy for it. Directions say it will take 3 hours. That's probably a conservative estimate. No indication in the description as to the effort involved. Keep in mind that if you send back you'll have to pay the shipping. That cost me $22. If item description would be honest about constructing this product then I would have never ordered. The CD gives you step by step instructions. It did take a couple of hours to assemble, but let me tell ya, when i took a pass through the leaves in my yard, I was thrilled! My property is surrounded by trees and every year I struggle to get them all raked up. I spent a tad over an hour and my yard is mostly leaf free! This task ordinarily takes me a few days. The install does take a bit of effort if you do not already have a bagger attachment, but it is well worth the effort! Like most say it takes about 2-3 hours to put it together (it took me a little longer see next line) and please learn from my mistake even if you really want to test the system before taping please DO NOT! The force blew my pipe system all over my lawn :) not good! I use me leaf blower to put my leaves in the center of the lawn then the Monster Leaf Bag to pick them all up!
