Easy, good fit, solid construction.
Great stem for the price. Pro tip - buy a set of headset rings/spacers to compensate for any size difference between the thickness of this and thickness of your OEM stem. Your headset will not tighten down without the spacers.

Comfort at a great price!
How can they sell these at such a cheap price? Fit my schwinn taff 29er perfectly. The factory one was about 2" long and made wrists hurt from too much pressure. This moved my bars back a good amount and made it much more comfortable. Used loctite on the bolts and didn't run into any issues. Solid piece that I have no worries will last longer than the bike. Only negative would be they don't ship with any torque specs for screws. Would definitely buy again.

Wonderful short stem
This stem replaced the original on my bike and has made the ride far more comfortable by bringing the handlebar closer. Easy to install and seems sturdy.

When you need a shorter reach, this is the fix
My posture on a used bicycle had me leaning forward. Bad form can cause hand numbness within minutes after getting on a bike. Since I knew the problem, I simply had to find a solution and this was it! By swapping out my longer handlebar stem for this short one and making a slight adjustment to the handlebar height, the result was a more upright riding position, one of the key things to prevent hand numbness. Over all quality is okay and the stem came with two handlebar shims (in various sizes) for a more accurate fit, if needed. My setup didn't require it. Just be careful not to over tighten it the bolts. Perfect for any home mechanic to solve one of the major complaints due to numb hands. Excellent bang for the buck!

Quality As Expected
Fair warning, I used to do a bit of CNC machining.OK, so the quality of this is exactly as expected for this price point. Unfortunately, there is an error in the CNC program or one of the CNC machines has some worn items, the work piece wasn't fixtured correctly, or something else happened, because there are two nice "flying-V" cuts on both sides of the stem. The end mill clearly grazed the sides in error and it looks hilarious. I'm going to live with it, not worth the hassle to swap out.Other than that, it seems to be a somewhat solid unit overall. And solid it is, because this 60 mm version weighs as much as my old 90 mm stem (139 g with bolts). So, not much optimization has been done to reduce weight. That's fine, I wouldn't expect it to be highly optimized, FEA analyzed, etc. One thing is for sure, this is probably not going to break. I mean, not unless I huck this gravel bike over a 50 ft gap.The screws are OK quality, same quality as other low end stainless screws. Can't complain too much. However, the pockets the heads and washers are supposed to sit in are not machined properly at all. This makes some of the heads sit more proud than the others. There's still plenty of thread engagement, and nothing is too wonky, so I'm guessing clamping forces are good enough, it just looks funny. I wish the threaded holes were a bit tighter tolerance, but again, it works. The massively thick anodizing (is it actually anodized? I'm afraid to even ask at this point) kinda screws things up. You can tell it just has different fit and finish than the high end stuff.Overall, it got my handlebars where they needed to be and it probably won't break, so good enough, right?
