This wonderful coat hanger / hook has been created from vintage stainless steel forks and a reclaimed floorboard. The pine floorboard comes from my own house and dates back to 1896! We are not big fans of screws on show so we have used two of the tines to form the fastener as can be seen in the second photo. The two remaining tines on each fork has sculpted to create an uniquely appealing piece. To retain the history of the floorboard it has been respectfully sanded and waxed using a traditional wax to ensure it will last for another hundred years. The overall measurements are: 35.5" / 90cm long 5.25" / 14cm high To allow for optimal storage the fork hooks are spaced 7" / 18cm apart. If it will not fit your space we are happy to amend as necessary. Happy to make a custom piece just for you or to answer any questions / provide further photos should they be required.
