I didn't use them until 2 days ago and I followed the instructions to charge both of the batteries together for 8 hours- which I did. When I was ready to use then I plugged the batteries into each glove then turned them on. They were great for about an hour then the light started flashing low battery- they needed to be charged already! I I fully charged them for over 8 hours and tried them again with an even shorter lasting time of less than an hour. I guess I expected more so I will return them

Work OK, but don't last
I've had issues over time with either the wire connection (shorting out) or the switch itself (no longer working). When they work, they work OK. The battery could last longer. Extra batteries help to get through the day.I've had 3 of these glove liners. The first was very thin and fragile. Had to be very careful putting glove on/off, or the seams would tear. Got through about 3 years, and then the switch on one of the gloves stopped working. They did work, though, and I thought 3 years was decent, so I bought a second pair. The second was much beefier, and no longer had to be as careful putting the gloves on/off. A good improvement. Except, it didn't last through the winter. Bought in November, and the wire on one of the gloves started shorting out by late February. By early March, it stopped working altogether. Since I had them less than a year, I returned them for a new pair.I didn't start using the new glove until the next winter, since by the time I got the replacement, the winter was over. The replacement pair didn't fare any better. It also did not last through the winter, with the switch failing in February. After having 2 of the gloves fail after a few months of use, I can't recommend them.I used them about 5 days a week, but only days in the 20's or colder. They do work! It's easy to change the heat level, so I'd try to keep them on the lowest setting which kept my hands warm. When my hands started to get cold, I'd turn them up. Even doing this, the battery wouldn't last through the day. The original gloves I had, now at least 5 years old, still had working batteries. With 2 sets of working batteries, I could swap them out at lunchtime and get through the day. These are the only heated gloves I have owned. The wire connection to the battery is a weak point. Continually connecting and disconnecting the battery and putting it into a small pocket constantly flexes the wire. With enough use, the wire can short, and the glove stop working. Apparently, the switch also seems to have a limited lifetime. I could ALMOST justify the cost if they could last an entire winter, but after 2 pairs that didn't, I can't.Looking for a different pair of heated liners. Unfortunately, most seem to have a similar wire to battery connection system and a similar limited battery life. Still looking....

These gloves are a perfect pairing for that 10 degree AM run!
I LOVE this product. Iโm a runner and I have Renaudโs - an auto-immune system that basically shuts down blood flow to my extremities (fingers, toes) when itโs cold. I have worn these gloves with liners throughout the Idaho winters and finally worn out my existing pair so I am back for a replacement. Another runner here just got a pair at my recommendation and she is equally happy.

Heated gloves
I haven't tested them exensively, but they were one for a couple hours on high. These are meant to be worn under another glove, however

Don't expect much.
I've had the same problem a lot of other reviewers have had; the batteries discharge very quickly. Every time I've gone out in the cold with them I've found myself without heated gloves about 1-2 hours later. Also, keep in mind these gloves are just liners. They won't do anything to keep your hands warm unless you have something on top. Unfortunately, the gauntlet is bulky so it's hard to find gloves that fit well over the liners. The gauntlet also makes it difficult to wear comfortably with a coat/jacket. My guess is that cheap heated gloves are the same if not better.

Not has warm as I thought they woodwork better inside mitts which defeats the purpose of having gloves
