Star Trek: Light-and-Sound Borg Cube (RP Minis)

Great sounding and pretty good looking Borg Cube... Sound effects are beeping, phaser and forcefield whooshing, with electronic instrument panel throbbing sound, plus high speed moving CUBE whoosh. Phrases spoken are "Fear is irrelevant, self determination is irrelevant... you must comply" and "Resistance is futile"

This is a fantastic little Borg Cube model, an ideal gift for any Star Trek fan! It features an internal green LED light, four sound clips from The Best of Both Worlds, a sturdy display stand and a small booklet with information on the Borg. This booklet covers the history of the Borg from TNG, First Contact and Voyager with a variety of coloured images. The sculpting and detail of this cube is NOT replicated from the Micro Machines line, it is brand new and eulates the appearance of the cubes as seen in Voyager, personally I prefer the cubes in Voyager. As a life long fan of Trek I would highly recommend this product and I am extremely excited for the forthcoming Next Generation Tricorder released at the end of April!

Excellent light up cube. I have all the Running Press Star Trek so far. This is my new favourite. A small criticism, I would have liked it 5cm wide and not 4cm wide as it is. It has 4 sound effects from the Best of Both worlds TNG episode and it is loud. There is plenty of holes through the sides for the green LED to shine through. The Stand is a Delta shape and is not essential as the cube can rest flat on a surface but it will block the speaker. Book is good but people will buy it mainly for the ship.

Great little box set containing a Borg Cube and mini book. The cube itself looks great for the price and has a nice plastic stand to slot it into if you want to keep it on display. It has a push button feature which lights up parts of the cube green giving it that authentic space feel. It also comes out with various well know phrases such as "We are the borg, resistance is futile", phaser sounds etc. The book provides a mini history lesson with the Federation and the borg with pictures to illustrate. Good little gift and great value.

I'm 45 and I've loved Star Trek for roughly 41 years. I'd sit and watch it with my uncle at my grandmothers house. The Borg always terrified me. I absolutely had to have this when I saw it. I've got the original Star Trek series on Steelbook and the more modern movies boxset and saw all three movies at the cinema with my uncle, he and I have also sat and binge watched all of the older movies. Star Trek over Star Wars anyday haha. Would love to see a mini Tribble made my RP, that'd be awesome 😊 The only small downside is it takes the tiny LR44 Batteries which tend to not last long but at least they are inexpensive. I'm going to get an extra one for my uncle for Christmas, he'll love it.

I was gifted this for Mother's Day and I'm very impressed! The Cube is about 3cm³, very clear details and with a cycle of 4 light & sound presses. The real surprise is the extra miniature book. Lots of colour photos from Star Trek with a short history of The Borg up to TNG. Really a great little gift for a Trekkie and maybe even just a passive fan. Definitely worth a buy!

The actual cube is pretty small but for under a £5er, it's amazing. Really accurate sounds & the lights look great, pretty bright. Gave as a gift to a Star Trek fan & he was super stoked with it.

Ein tolles Must Have für jeden Star Trek Fan. Es ist sauber und detailiert verarbeitet. Der Sound ist klar und verständlich und das Licht sieht sehr gut aus. Toll ist auch das dazugehörige kleine Buch mit Informationen und Fotos rund um die Borg. Klare Kaufempfehlung:-)

I must say that I'm pleasantly surprised by this Borg vessel. Originally I used to have a similar sized statuette but that one had no light nor sound and wasn't nearly as detailed. The sound effects are very crisp and clear while the interior lighting is supplied by a single green LED that shines through small cutouts along the cube's surface. The cube itself is 4x4x4cm and takes 3 LR1130 button cell batteries (batteries are included). It also comes with a little booklet that has background information regarding the Enterprise-D and its dealings with the Borg throughout the series with lots of photos. It's a pretty small booklet but has lots of pages. Very fast shipping by Amazon (as usual) and I am very happy with this nice memento from Star Trek TNG.

Incredible. These Star Trek miniatures just get better and better. This cube is very detailed. It has audio, something missing in the phaser, Enterprise and Galileo Shuttle. It has three or four phrases (including the classic, Resistance is futile). When the button is pressed, you get a phrase and the green lights come on. This figure looks excellent in the collection. Well worth the price, as all these figures are. Great value. I have the entire collection, and I love 'em aall.
