3Sets of Brass Male and Female 3/4 Inch Water Hose Quick Connect Fitting Garden Quick Release Hose Connector

My old, leaky hose fused to my faucet (neglect on my part) so I had to use a hacksaw to cut it off (see yt, it works!). I bought this in the hope that even if that happens again I can just switch out the connector to my hose. This quick connector met my needs and is brass so hopefully it doesn't fuse to my faucet. Works as expected. Also allows me to switch from my long garden hose to a short utility hose easily without having to unscrew stuff.One thing to note is that the male connector (the skinnier one) is threaded on the inside so it screwed into the faucet with the female connector (threads on the outside) attached to the hose. Does not affect the functionality but just good to know if you are thinking of buying additional connectors for multiple hoses per faucet or for multiple nozzles/hose attachments per hose. You would have to buy a new set since afaik they don't sell just female connectors with outside threads like they do for male connectors. Hope that makes sense...The price was good and it is working well so far (no leaks). So no complaints there.

These work okay, no leaks at all after 2 years of use. I can tell the rubber o ring is ready to fail any time on them. So I will need to source a replacement there.Some others a friend ordered came with replacement O rings..... that’s kinda nice if you don’t lose them.

I bought a set of 3 of these quick connectors and put them on several 100-foot lengths of hose. That was in November. I left them outside, disconnected, through snow and cold temperatures into the single digits. When we had a warm spell in January, I hooked everything together so I could scrub out my horse's water tanks. The connectors joined together with only minimal effort, and I didn't see any leaks, despite dragging the extremely long and heavy coupled hoses down a gravel driveway.It's only been a few months so I can't be sure how long these will last, but so far they're doing great.

The quality is much better than the cheap Aluminum, they are easy to couple and service but there are some issues. If you drop the hose when connected to an attachment like a spray head it will cause the connection to break loose and you will have to chase the hose as water is whipping around spraying.

I love these fittings. I use them in my garden with my spray hose set up on my automatic timer. It makes it so easy to move things around as needed. I loved them so much that I went back and bought three more packs. The best part is no leaks.

They seem like good connectors, but the problem is typically the male end should be a male thread and the quick connect female end should be a female thread. This set is more designed to go from your house hose bib to the hose, not for accessories like sprayers or sprinklers as you would oddly have to put the quick connect end on the accessory. There is also no flow check valve, so when you disconnect them the water will continue to flow out of the hose and spray all over uncontrolled.

Les connecteurs ne sont pas aussi ajustés que ceux de Gardena. Ils y a beaucoup de jeu. Ça ne m'étonnerait pas si des fuites apparaissaient assez rapidement. On verra avec le temps. Impossible de clipper facilement les connecteurs. Faut faire la même manipulation pour défaire et faire la connection.
