Absolutely thrilled with this album. I came across a video of my, then, 18 month old grandchild dancing away to her dad’s Rancid album. The memories were so joyful that I bought the album to remind me of her toddler days. She’s 7 now and we can now play the familiar songs in my car for her, to enjoy, when we’re out and about on longer journeys.I was thrilled with the 3 posters and plectrums that came with the cd! And the dvd also!Absolute bargain and will buy more cds for presents!

A bit more of variety of musical styles on this Rancid album than might have been the case in the past. Arguably in fact the most varied they have come up with. It has some of their signature ska / punk influenced stuff ("Up To No Good" is a prime example, along with the excellent "This Place") & has the slower "Civilian Ways" at the other end of the scale.There are a couple of songs (like the aforementioned "Civilian Ways" & "The Bravest Kids") which touch on the Iraq & Afghanistan conflicts as well as some anti globalisation sentiment & expression of discontent & alienation with America (the marvellous "Disconnected").For me,a couple of listens & I was hooked. It might not appeal to every Rancid fan but I like the mix on this record, some really driving, powerful stuff. A gem.

Ottavo album in studio dei Rancid. Arriva l'edizione del 2009 seconda stampa. la copertina si apre a libro e contiene al suo interno due dischi. Qualità audio impeccabile e imballo di amazon sufficiente per garantire al disco di arrivare senza un graffio

Ganze sechs Jahre waren seit dem letzten Album vergangen, als Rancid 2009 mit "Let The Dominoes Fall" endlich wieder ein neues Studioalbum rausgehauen haben. Ich kann und will gar nicht groß herumreden: Obwohl ich diese Band seit ungefähr 10 Jahren regelmäßig und ausgiebig höre, habe ich sie noch immer nicht satt. Im Gegenteil. Rancid haben sich entwickelt, ohne sich zu verändern - und das hört man.Man findet Stücke, die ein wenig an die frühen, rotzigen Rancid erinnern (This Place, L.A. River, Locomotive), aber auch eine ganze Reihe an Tracks (z.B. New Orleans, Dominoes Fall, East Bay Night) die einen Hauch vom Vorgänger "Indestructible" versprühen - und das ist durchaus gut, denn Indestructible war ein großartiges Album.Dieses Album kann sich also durchaus sehen lassen. Wie immer gibt es eine Menge Tracks - 19 Stücke sind zu finden - und keinen einzigen davon würde ich bewusst skippen, weil er mir nicht gefällt.Weiterhin punktet diese Deluxe Edition, die ich mir letztlich aus Sammler-Gründen doch nochmal zugelegt habe, natürlich auch durch die Extras, die sie so deluxe machen: Vier Gitarren-Plektren sind dabei, diverse Poster, eine Akustik-CD des Albums und eine DVD - alles hübsch zusammengestellt in einer soliden Papp-Box. (Außerdem ist die CD im gleichen Stil bedruckt wie schon "...and out come the wolves"; das hat mich ganz besonders wehmütig gemacht.)Die erste Auskopplung "Last One To Die" macht unmissverständlich klar, worum es bei diesem Album geht: Rancid sind immer noch am Start und werden es auch bleiben.

Cd arrivato veloce e senza un graffio. L'album è in ottimo stile Rancid bello pompato. A me non dispiace affatto.

Otro excelente disco de parte de Rancid, ademas de incluir un cd acústico y un dvd de el making of.

Un album bien foutu comme savent le faire les Rancid... Pêchu, ska , audible et varié.... Achetez le sans souci fan et fan en devenir......NB: dans la version digipack, un cd accoustique qui mais encore plus en valeur la voix de Tim Armstrong et un dvd intéressantEn conclusion, le tout est efficace!

Super album, boîtier original complet.

Un très bon album, avec de superbes chansons, certes le coté "punk" est un peu terne par rapport aux premiers LP du groupe, mais moi j'adore. Rancid c'est comme le bon vin, ca se bonifie et s'adoucit en vieillissant !

Ich kann jeden Vinyl- und Rancid-Freund nur dazu raten diese Doppelscheibe zu kaufen. Über die Musik verliere ich nicht viele Worte,wer die letzte LP mochte, wird auch hier sehr angetan sein. Tendenziell noch einen Tick melodiöser und abwechslungsreich wie eh und je tönt es aus den Boxen. Aber diese Qualität der Pressung, einfach super. Fettes 180g-Vinyl, tolles Klappcover, so wie es früher einmal war. Getoppt wird das ganze noch von einem Download-Gutschein, womit man sich das ganze noch als 320 kbit-Files für den mp3-Player ziehen kann. Wenn's doch nur immer so wäre ...

Bin seit Jahren ein riesiger Rancid Fan und wurde bisher noch nie enttäuscht, beim neuen Album siehts allerdings anders aus!Zuallererst muss ich aber sagen dass die (wenn man so will) "Special Edition" für Fans ein absolutes muss ist 2CDs (normale CD auf Scheibe 1, auf Scheibe 2 finden sich von 12 Nummern Acoustic Versionen), 3 (in typischem Rancid-Style) Posters, eine "making of" the seventh record DVD (die allerdings ziemlich Schwach ist) und 4 Gitarrenplektren rechtfertigen die 20€ meiner Meinung nach auf jeden Fall (gibt deshalb 3 anstatt 2 Sternen).Zur CD selbst muss ich sagen das "Let the dominoes fall" mit Sicherheit das schlechteste Rancid Album überhaupt ist.Tim Armstrong hört sich ja total gelangweilt an am Album, ausserdem vermisse ich die genialen Bassspuren der Vorgängeralben.Vielleicht ist das nur mein Eindruck aber ich bin vom neuen Album echt enttäuscht, wenn ich da nur an ein ...and out come the wolves - Album denke auf dem beinahe jeder Song ein Ohrwurm ist, absolut kein Vergleich.Für Rancid-Fans alleine wegen der Extras einen Kauf wert, sonst allerdings eine ziemliche Enttäuschung!
