Cosco Easy Elite 3-in-1 Convertible Car Seat, Disco Ball Berry

Really great car seat for the price. My daughter seems to enjoy it much more than her infant car seat. I wanted something that was affordable and had a good amount of padding as well.

The seat itself is beautiful and very comfortable for my 20 month old, however it is extremely bulky and requires me to push the passenger seat ALL THE WAY UP in order to fit as a rear facing seat! It is very hard to install rear facing. There is no way you could fit 3 of them across like their add says, and I have a Jeep cherokee! In regards to the seat itself, my daughter fits in it wonderfully and the straps are great.

Great seat. My daughter loves it. However the installation is difficult. The strap to hold the car seat is very difficult to tighten.

I love this car seat. Great for my granddaughter. Easy to set up and buckle her in.

So my friend gave me her Easy Elite for my 7 month old who is almost ready to transition into a regular car seat. I love the seat itself, it's easy to adjust as she grows and it's not overly padded(I bought the Cosco Mightyfit and the headrest pushed her chin to her chest making it unuseable) but my main issue with this seat is fit. She is 7 months old and at her last visit in May(Its now July) she was 25 inches tall yet I cannot use the Easy Elite because the lowest slots are too tall for her! I contacted Cosco thinking maybe it was my error but they informed me after reviewing photos that I just simply cannot use this seat for her because she isn't big enough. How they can say it will accommodate a 19" tall baby from 5 lbs and up is a flat out lie because there is no way this seat can accommodate a newborn. All of my children are on the tall side, usually in the 80-90%, so they are taller then most babies. I think the seat will be great once my baby can fit in it, but its disappointing she doesn't fit now at 7 months old.
