WHARFEDALE PRO DELTA-12 Passive speakers Molded

I've tried to buy a brand new pair of these Wharfedale Delta 12 Passive speakers from my local supplier that are of acceptable condition, but they have been unable to supply me with two units that are not plagued by mould growing on the surrounds, despite replacements. There is no mould on the paper or other parts of the speaker, but there appears to be serious contamination on the surround that is growing significant amounts of mould. This is completely unacceptable from a "professional" speaker manufacturer. Complaints to Wharfedale themselves via their official channels have been completely ignored. I removed the woofer from one of the speakers to show that the mould is also growing on the back-side of the surrounds.Don't buy these speakers under any circumstances. I have been ignored by Wharfedale and replacements have the same problem. I purchased these locally in New Zealand, but as they are all made in China, this could affect any of their stock.
