The starter for my fluorescent tube needed replacing - and I thought that this only costs about the same as a couple of starters - so now was the time to go led. I was slightly dubious about the quality - but having now installed it (took about a minute) I have no concerns at all. The electric saving - 8w instead of 18w is not huge - but the instant start is good. The light is a bit warmer than the fluorescent. Given this is situated in my boiler house - so doesn't get a massive amount of use, I doubt that I will ever have to replace this. Recommended.

Arrived sooner than expected. Lots of layers of bubble wrap but product arrived in perfect condition. Easy to replace my dated fluorescent tube, don't forget to pull out the older starter and replace with the starter included with the bulb.

The sales blurb says the bulb can be used with normal fittings but it requires special LED fittings. Asked to return, the merchant did not respond.

To give 5 stars to a bulb is a bit extreme. But it does the job perfectly. You just replace the tube and starter and it works with no start-up flashing or slight flicker you get on a fluorescent buld. Colour is very slightly warmer and it is slightly brighter than the fluorescent bulb it replaced.

Easy to fit and works a treat

I needed to replace a dead flourescent tube. This has done the job. Was fitted easily, gives a nice, flicker-free light and uses less energy.

Great product, lower wattage than the competition and same bright, flicker free output. Superb.
