Distressed edges and textured surfaces gives the appearance of a time worn, centuries old rustic oak beam. Every aged rustic oak beam is supplied with concealed brackets capable of supporting your beam with ease. Unless specified otherwise in the checkout your beam will be drilled in one of the larger sides. Fitting instructions are also included. The fittings provided work best fixing into brick, stone or breeze block walls. They can be fixed to stud walls where timber uprights can be located. Pre drilled holes and fixings supports included with 6"x6" beams. Heavy duty keyhole fixings are supplied with 8"x4" and 6"x4" beams. Delivery is free to most of the UK. Scottish Highlands and Islands may be subject to additional delivery charges. Our dispatch time is typically 3-5 working days. Please use this as a guide only. During busy periods dispatch time may be longer. If you require your order by a specific date please contact us before you place an order to ensure we can meet your deadline. We have a variety of sizes available, please be aware that our measurements are accurate to 1/2". The beam in the photo has been finished in the "Rugger Brown Wax Polish" (colour may vary from the beam in the photo, please leave a note in the checkout if you would like your beam finished in a different colour). Important: Please be aware as oak is a natural product, each piece does vary with regards to: cracks, knots, colour and grain pattern. Due to machining and sanding beams are typically up to 1/2″ smaller than the size stated. Some beams may have small areas of pin holing which further adds to the reclaimed effect, we will treat these beams with anti infestation solution. Please note that none of the above can be treated as defects.
